National Mass Art Performance "Revolutionary Songs" in 2025

On the evening of June 1, the Department of Grassroots Culture, Family and Library (Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism) coordinated with An Giang province to organize the opening ceremony of the 2025 National Mass Art Performance "Revolutionary Songs" to celebrate the anniversaries of major holidays and important historical events of the country in 2025.

Attending the opening ceremony were Director of the Department of Grassroots Culture, Family and Library Ninh Thi Thu Huong; Deputy Director of the Department of Grassroots Culture, Family and Library Nguyen Quoc Huy; Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of An Giang province Nguyen Khanh Hiep along with leaders, artists, singers, actors, musicians of 23 mass art troupes from provinces and cities across the country.

The 2025 National Mass Art Festival “Revolutionary Songs” is organized by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism in coordination with the People's Committee of An Giang province, with the participation of mass art troupes from provinces and cities across the country. The festival takes place from June 1 to June 6, 2025, at Trung Nu Vuong Square (My Long Ward, Long Xuyen City).

After the opening ceremony, there will be performances by mass art troupes: An Giang, Quang Ninh, Gia Lai, Tien Giang, with each unit performing 3 contents: Singing, dancing, music within a maximum duration of 35 minutes/unit program. On the evening of June 2, 2025, also at the Trung Nu Vuong Square stage, the festival will continue with performances by units from the following localities: Bac Lieu, Lang Son, Ninh Thuan, Quang Nam, Tra Vinh.

The National Mass Art Performance of "Revolutionary Songs" is an activity aimed at propagating and educating revolutionary ideals, patriotic traditions, pride, self-respect, the spirit of great national unity, deepening the nation's morality of "When drinking water, remember its source"; honoring and showing gratitude to heroic martyrs, comrades, and compatriots who heroically sacrificed their blood and bones, dedicating their whole lives to the cause of national liberation and unification; creating solidarity, unity, and high responsibility within the entire Party, consensus among all classes of people to strive, overcome difficulties and challenges, and be determined to successfully implement the Resolution of the 13th National Party Congress and the Party Congresses at all levels for the 2025-2030 term, towards the 14th National Party Congress; Encourage and motivate cadres, party members and people to promote to the highest extent the spirit of "self-reliance, self-confidence, self-reliance, self-strengthening, and national pride" to successfully carry out important political goals and tasks, bringing the country to rapid and sustainable development in the new era...
