“Ordinary yet noble examples” honors 135 outstanding examples

Speaking at the opening of the exhibition, Dr. Vu Manh Ha, Director of the Ho Chi Minh Museum, affirmed: During his lifetime, President Ho Chi Minh paid great attention to setting an example of good people and good deeds. He once said: "Every good person and every good deed is a beautiful flower, our whole nation is a beautiful flower forest"...

After President Ho Chi Minh passed away, the movement to study and follow his example was launched by our Party, becoming a regular, long-term, practical activity, entering the reality of social life. Emulation movements such as "Studying and following President Ho Chi Minh's Testament"; "Living, fighting, working and studying following the example of great Uncle Ho!" and the current stage "Studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style" have been responded to and implemented enthusiastically and widely throughout the country by all classes of people.

The strong spread of those movements has created more and more typical and advanced collectives and individuals in all fields, contributing to human development, organizational development, and creating great achievements in the cause of building and defending the socialist Vietnamese Fatherland.

According to the Director of the Ho Chi Minh Museum, the exhibition "Simple but noble examples" has been held continuously for the past 13 years (2013-2025) and is an extremely meaningful political and cultural activity because it not only introduces and honors good people and good deeds, but also helps the public gain a deeper understanding of Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style, so that each person, each family and each collective can continue to contribute practical work that has a profound impact on life.

With more than 200 documents, articles, and artifacts, the 2025 Exhibition "Ordinary but Noble Examples" introduces to the public 135 typical and advanced examples, including 71 groups and 64 individuals with outstanding achievements selected from more than 600 typical examples in studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality, and style introduced and honored by the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission and provincial, municipal, and central Party Committees.

In addition, the exhibition also introduces a number of documents, articles, books and book collections on studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style, along with a number of badges that President Ho Chi Minh presented to good people and good deeds.

The exhibition content is divided into 2 parts:

Part I - "Studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and lifestyle is a regular task of our entire Party and people": Affirming that studying and following President Ho Chi Minh's example was launched by our Party and State right after President Ho Chi Minh passed away with the emulation movement "Living, fighting, working and studying following the example of great Uncle Ho!"

Part II - "Ordinary but noble examples": Introducing to the public stories about 135 typical organizations, groups and individuals from all sectors and levels. These are shining examples in patriotic emulation movements in the fields of: Building a clean and strong Party and political system; Developing the economy , culture and society; Building a revolutionary, disciplined, elite and modern People's Army and People's Police.

Each image and article in the exhibition is a touching story about groups and ordinary people who have overcome their circumstances and fate, dared to think, dared to do, constantly tried, devoted themselves to the benefit of the community, for the peace and prosperity of the country.

A typical example is the old lady Nguyen Thi Sau in Binh Duong, nearly 90 years old, still quietly giving warm breakfasts to students, workers, and poor laborers, sowing in people's hearts a valuable lesson about compassion and a beautiful lifestyle in everyday life.

Or the example of Senior Lieutenant Nguyen Viet Quan - who bravely saved 4 people in the fire in Quynh Loi, Hanoi in 2024. He is a living testament to the spirit of "serving the people" of the People's Public Security soldiers.

The 135 groups and individuals introduced in this exhibition are 135 fresh flowers respectfully offered to President Ho Chi Minh on the occasion of his 135th birthday anniversary. They are also typical examples of will, determination, compassion and courage.

From these inspiring examples, each person, each family, each collective will have more motivation to continue contributing practical work, so that our whole country will be a "beautiful flower forest" of good people and good deeds as wished by beloved President Ho Chi Minh.
