Ninh Binh continues to affirm its brand as a safe, attractive and culturally rich destination.

A series of cultural and artistic events organized and performed during the April 30 - May 1 holiday attracted a huge number of visitors to Ninh Binh with impressive record numbers in all criteria: The number of visitors increased by 48.9% compared to the 2024 holiday, of which international visitors increased by 112.9%; tourism revenue is estimated at over 1,000 billion VND, an increase of 43.9% compared to the 2024 holiday. This result contributes to the implementation of the double-digit economic growth target set by the province and continues to create momentum for Ninh Binh tourism to accelerate and break through.

The attraction of heritage

The 5-day April 30-May 1 holiday this year is a good opportunity for Ninh Binh to attract tourists and extend their stay. In addition, a series of attractive cultural programs and events help visitors enhance their experience.

The family of Ms. Tran Thi Huong, from Hanoi , had a 3-day, 2-night vacation in Ninh Binh. With that orientation, this year the highlight for Ninh Binh Tourism is the series of activities in the program "Heritage for Life" and the program "Non La - Vietnam Festival 2025" lasting continuously for 5 days of the holiday.

The program "Non la - Vietnam Festival 2025" is a unique artistic journey between nature and heritage, inspired by the beauty of the ancient capital and the mission of spreading traditional cultural values, opening a journey to discover heritage through unique artistic and cultural activities throughout the holiday with activities such as: Hoa Lu brocade; Hoa Lu dance painting; Luu Giang dyeing. In addition, there are activities such as: Running to the Village; Off-road car racing 2025...

Although there are still some regrets in some moments, it can be affirmed that the series of activities in the Program "Non la - Vietnam Festival 2025" has brought a space to connect people and heritage, contributing to preserving and promoting cultural values, while arousing national pride, spreading the beauty of Vietnamese traditions to the public at home and abroad. The 30/4 - 1/5 holiday in 2025 in Ninh Binh continues to affirm its brand as a safe, attractive and culturally rich destination. With impressive growth in the number of visitors, a series of unique events and professional organization, Ninh Binh has taken advantage of the long holiday peak to promote its image, enhance tourism experiences and boost revenue.

Comrade Bui Van Manh, Director of the Department of Tourism, said: From April 30, 2025 to May 4, 2025, the whole province is estimated to welcome more than 700,000 visitors, an increase of 48.9% compared to the 2024 holiday, including more than 124,000 international visitors, an increase of 112.9% compared to the 2024 holiday. Tourism revenue is estimated to reach more than 1,000 billion VND, an increase of 43.9% compared to the 2024 holiday. Ninh Binh tourism continues to be in the top provinces with tourism revenue reaching over 1,000 billion VND.

Statistics from the tourism industry also show that Ninh Binh tourism has not only increased in the number of visitors but also in the quality of accommodation with the average room occupancy rate of the whole province during the holidays reaching 85-90%. Some accommodation establishments with high room occupancy rates include: Legend Ninh Binh Hotel reaching 100%; Hoang Son Hotel reaching 90%; Vedana Resort reaching 100%; Emeralda Resort 90%; MT Collection Hotel 100%; Minawa Kenh Ga 90%; hotels and homestays in the Tam Coc-Bich Dong area with average room occupancy rates of over 90%. The number of days guests stay is estimated to average 2 days/guest. The number of guests is concentrated on the nights from May 1-3.

Tourism businesses strictly comply with regulations on tourism business. The listing and sale of goods and services at listed prices are strictly implemented. The positive figures achieved during the recent April 30 and May 1 holidays have demonstrated the correct and timely orientation policies of Ninh Binh province when determining to develop tourism and cultural industry into a key economic cluster.

At the same time, the above results also demonstrate the close coordination of the Party committees and authorities in the province and the efforts of the tourism business community, the pioneers in the development of the industry. These are also bright signals promising a year of growth and breakthrough for Ninh Binh tourism with the set target of welcoming over 9.1 million visitors, including 2 million international visitors.

Revenue is estimated to reach over 10,000 billion VND, creating a driving force for the development of other industries and fields and actively and effectively contributing to the implementation of the economic growth target of 12% in 2025.
