In April 2020, Quang Binh Medical College was established on the basis of upgrading Quang Binh Medical College. With the policy of streamlining and efficiency, the school established 4 Departments: Training - International Cooperation, Accreditation - Student Affairs, Management - Administration, Practical General Clinic; and 3 faculties: Faculty of Medicine; Faculty of Pharmacy; Faculty of Basic Sciences. With the spirit of creativity, passion for dedication, and devotion to the profession of the staff, along with proactive creativity, innovation in training program strategies and teaching methods; building a scientific, streamlined management apparatus, a healthy and friendly pedagogical environment; focusing on and promoting the scientific research movement and application of information technology to adapt to the training career in the new period.

The Party Committee, leaders, lecturers and staff of the School are always united, make efforts and are determined to successfully complete assigned tasks.

Currently, the school has 72 staff and employees. Over the years, the school has focused on investing in purchasing basic, synchronous, and advanced teaching equipment in terms of quantity and standard categories. Ensuring that students can access, use, and master it while studying at the school. The school has also newly deployed a multidisciplinary practice clinic with full range of specialized specialties, with a team of medical staff with seniority and professional experience. The system of machinery is newly equipped, synchronous, and modern, meeting the needs of training to improve skills and proficiency for students right at the school.

Every year, the school enrolls enough and exceeds the assigned target. The training scale for the 2020-2021 school year is 768 students. Including college, intermediate, primary and university transfer systems. The training scale for the 2022-2023 school year is 750, of which the regular college system is 335, including 85 Lao students and students who are managed to live in the dormitory at the school. In particular, the school has paid great attention and care to the spirit, ideology and material to ensure the best for Lao students studying at the school to study with peace of mind.

The school pays great attention to scientific research and experience initiatives. Last year, the school completed 01 provincial-level Science and Technology topic, 01 scientific article published in the Vietnam Preventive Medicine Journal; had 01 initiative and solution participating in the Quang Binh Provincial Technical Innovation Contest in 2021, winning the Third Prize and many school-level initiative topics. The initiative topics have actively contributed to effectively serving the management and teaching work and benefiting the school hundreds of millions of VND per year.
