Non Nuoc – Ngu Hanh Son through the eyes of an art photography lover

On March 21, the Organizing Committee of the 1st Non Nuoc - Ngu Hanh Son Photography Contest 2024 announced 47 works selected for exhibition at the Quan The Am - Ngu Hanh Son Festival.

These artworks will be displayed from March 26 to 29, within the festival grounds.

After more than 3 months of launching, the Organizing Committee of the Non Nuoc - Ngu Hanh Son photography contest received and judged 324 works, including 31 photo series and 293 single photos.

Through 3 rounds of judging, the jury selected 47 works to display at the exhibition, of which 11 excellent works were considered for awards (no first prize). The awarded works met the criteria of layout, image quality, and message conveyed.

The contest aims to honor the beauty of Ngu Hanh Son, supplement the image data source for the special national monument, a long-standing scenic spot and a symbol of Da Nang City.

The contest also creates an artistic playground, improves professional skills, develops artistic photography activities and promotes the image of Ngu Hanh Son to tourists.

According to the Organizing Committee, although this is the first time the art photography contest has been held, the Ngu Hanh Son landscape has been a traditional subject for photographers and art photography enthusiasts in Da Nang City. The contest encourages authors to have new, creative, and diverse perspectives, focusing on depicting not only the landscape and nature but also the soul of the landscape and relics with craft village activities, the liveliness of the culture and people of this land rich in identity.
