“It’s great to be ahead of Nadal,” Djokovic said in an interview after winning the title. “Everyone goes their own way. I’ve spent a lot of time thinking about Nadal and Federer over the last 15 years. But I am who I am because Nadal and Federer have pushed me to improve.”
With his 23rd Grand Slam title, Djokovic has become the player with the most championships in history. The Serbian tennis player shared: "I don't want to say I'm the best in history because that would be disrespectful to others.
Every tennis player dreams of playing in a Grand Slam and winning it at least once. I've been incredibly lucky in my life to have won 23 and it's an incredible feeling."
