In addition to outstanding cai luong excerpts, the program also features Buddhist choirs, orchestral performances, solo performances of traditional musical instruments, lotus dances for peace of mind and poetry recitation, elaborately staged with solemn lighting and background music.

The audience, including many Buddhists, locals and foreign tourists in Ho Chi Minh City, welcomed the program with all their appreciation. Ms. Nguyen Thi Hanh, a Buddhist in District 3, was moved: "I have never seen Cai Luong in a Buddhist festival space like this. Every song and dance calmed my soul."
