On the evening of May 14, the special art program May Gifts for Him to celebrate the 135th birthday of President Ho Chi Minh (May 19, 1890 - May 19, 2025) took place at the Hanoi Opera House.
With 3 parts: The person who seeks the image of the country, The flag of peace and The name of Ho Chi Minh will shine forever , the program is elaborately staged, combining many types of art such as singing, dancing, music, drama, animation, cinema and 3D mapping projection technology, recreating the life and revolutionary career of Uncle Ho.

The program opened with a dramatic scene, singing Ho Chi Minh - Red Memories Uncle Ho has a trip performed by People's Artist Hong Luu, Meritorious Artist To Nga, Cong Minh and artists from the Vietnam Drama Theater. From the gentle folk melody of his hometown Nghe An, the image of the young boy Nguyen Sinh Cung, full of aspirations, gradually emerged.

His footsteps across the world to find a way to save the country are portrayed with emotion through heroic and immortal songs such as: Ho Chi Minh, the most beautiful name is His, The song in the Pac Bo forest (Meritorious Artist Luong Huy, Pha Le Group and Tinh lute artists of Viet Bac Folk Theater) , Ho Chi Minh song (singers Hoang Hai, Trang Phap, Hoang Hong Ngoc, Oplus group, Cee Jay, Lena, actor Charlie Win and LYNT Dance Group) ...


The image of a simple person in everyday life, his kind eyes, his generous smile towards his compatriots and soldiers... are all vividly recreated through a combination of performing arts and cinematic materials, bringing an emotional experience that touches people's hearts.


The emotions throughout the program were pride, sacredness, emotion, responsibility, and inspiration. The program was not only a word of gratitude but also a deep wish of every Vietnamese child, to live and contribute according to Uncle Ho's ideology, to build a peaceful , humane, independent, and powerful country as he always wished.
