“Queen of the Northwest” on top of Pu Ta Leng

Every year in March and early April, on the majestic mountain peaks of Lai Chau , rhododendrons bloom amidst the green forests with brilliant colors. With its wild beauty that captivates people, this flower is affectionately called “Queen of the Northwest”.

Pu Ta Leng Peak (Tam Duong District) at an altitude of over 3,000m, the “roof” of the west of the country, these days, rhododendrons are in full bloom with clusters of flowers, like sparks of fire burning in the clouds, decorating the majestic mountains. The rhododendrons are like symbols of strong vitality, resilience, charm, stretching to catch the wind, bathing in the dew on the top of Hoang Lien Son.
