In episode 2, which aired on the evening of July 25, the female MC surprised everyone when she rarely showed off her simple, sweet voice on the big stage. At the beginning of the competition, she performed the emotional song Rain in the homeland . Wearing a traditional Ao Ba Ba, Huynh Tho evoked the image of a simple, close-knit Southern girl.

She confided: "Every time someone asks, I always proudly say that I am from the West - a place where everything is beautiful, from the flying storks to the water hyacinth branches... When I grew up and went far away to make a living, I missed my hometown so much."

Not only expressing her love for her homeland, the female MC also brought to the stage her concerns about the lives of people in the West. In her performance of the song "My Hometown in Flood Season ", she touched the hearts of the audience when she talked about the difficulties of this land: the long dry season, the erratic rain and floods causing damage to people and property. However, through the song "Love of Mother Cuu Long" , Huynh Tho skillfully conveyed the optimistic spirit, the strong will and the affection of the people of the river region.

Huynh Tho's performance received many positive responses from the judges. Famous singer Phuong Dung was skeptical about the singing ability of a professional MC like Huynh Tho, but after watching the performance, she highly appreciated the staging and emotions that the female contestant brought: "I hope that in addition to speaking skills, singing will also be a part-time job for you."
