Female student Tran Thi Thu Hien speaks at the graduation ceremony of Foreign Trade University.
Graduating early with a "huge" GPA of 3.99/4.0, female student Tran Thi Thu Hien (Can Loc, Ha Tinh), a student of English class 6, Faculty of Foreign Economics, Standard Program at Foreign Trade University, has become one of 20 outstanding students honored at the early graduation ceremony.
With the goal of graduating in 3.5 years, Thu Hien said she realized that graduating early would be more beneficial because the competition for jobs would not be as high as when graduating at the same time. To achieve this goal, Thu Hien said that each semester she would have to study 2-3 more subjects than scheduled.
Despite the large and dense workload, during her time studying at Foreign Trade University, Thu Hien received the school's A-class scholarship in all 6 semesters, in addition to receiving scholarships from 5 other businesses.
“Thanks to these scholarships, I have not had to ask my parents to pay tuition fees for almost 3.5 years, and I have even saved a small amount to study and improve my foreign language skills,” Thu Hien shared. Her excellent academic achievements and tireless efforts helped Thu Hien get accepted into an American logistics company before graduating.
