Female students smoke and fight in the bathroom: Revealing the reason why the clip was leaked

The Departmentof Education and Training (GD-DT) of Tan Binh District, Ho Chi Minh City has issued a detailed report on the incident of students fighting and filming a clip that occurred at Hoang Hoa Tham Secondary School (Tan Binh District).

According to the Department of Education and Training of Tan Binh District, immediately after learning about the incident, the department worked with the Board of Directors of Hoang Hoa Tham Secondary School; at the same time, requested the school leaders to report the incident.

According to the school's report, in the 2022-2023 school year, around December 2022, P. (in grade 9) had a conflict with L. (in grade 8), so he invited H., T. and N. to ask L. to go into the girls' restroom with the door closed to talk. After that, they fought with L. and recorded the clip, but did not post it online. "At that time, L. told her mother and the school coordinated with her parents to resolve the matter. The parties basically no longer had any conflict," the report stated.

By the evening of September 26, 2023, the clip was spread on social media. After verifying the students involved and the student whose social media account posted the clip, the school invited the parents and students involved to work and learned more details: The incident happened in the previous school year, the students involved basically no longer had conflicts with each other. In the past 3 weeks, an outsider hacked the Facebook account of the class monitor of class 9A9 and used this account to text the students involved in the clip demanding money or else the clips would be posted on social media. "Because the students did not agree to pay, on the afternoon of September 26, the clip was posted on social media" - the report stated.

On the part of the leaders of Hoang Hoa Tham Secondary School, on the morning of September 27, upon receiving the information, the school leaders coordinated with Tan Binh District Police and related parties to clarify the incident. Thereby, the students who fought with their classmates who filmed the clip all saw their mistakes and pledged to make amends this school year and absolutely not repeat the offense. The student who was beaten also agreed to reconcile with his classmates and no longer have conflicts, the parents of both families agreed not to pursue the past incident and promised to deeply educate their children in the future...

Regarding the incident where the clip was posted and spread on social networks, the school leaders asked for the support of the district security team to use professional measures to track down the hacked account, however, the outside subject has blocked the account so the investigation is temporarily not possible.

Previously, as reported by Nguoi Lao Dong Newspaper , some clips were circulating on social networks recording scenes of female students smoking and fighting in school restrooms. In the clip, a female student was grabbed by the hair and kicked by other female students, but she only held her head and did not fight back. Some other students stood by and witnessed but did not stop her. Some other clips recorded scenes of female students smoking. Afterwards, these students cleaned up, sprayed perfume on themselves and the entire restroom area, and then left. This incident took place at Hoang Hoa Tham Secondary School (Tan Binh District).
