In particular, in recent years, in the context of globalization, "literature and art of Vietnamese people abroad" has also been established. Their audience is not limited to the Vietnamese community but extends to the global scope,” Associate Professor, Dr. Nguyen The Ky commented.

Taking the example of outstanding films by overseas Vietnamese directors such as Tran Anh Hung, Nguyen Vo Nghiem Minh, Ho Quang Minh, Pham Thien An, etc., Dr. Ngo Phuong Lan, President of the Vietnam Cinema Promotion and Development Association, said that excellent cinematographic and literary works are effective bridges connecting Vietnam with the world and bringing the world to Vietnam.

According to Dr. Ngo Phuong Lan, we should attract many talented Vietnamese people living abroad to "do culture". Because their lives have given them the experience of "internationalizing" Vietnamese colors more easily than those who only live in the country, and at the same time, their cultural products often have more widespread and continuous conditions. "The important thing is to evoke the "national soul" and responsibility for the country of those living far from their homeland, to join hands to create a "Vietnamese wave" in cinema in particular and culture in general", Dr. Ngo Phuong Lan emphasized.

Associate Professor Dr. Phung Ngoc Kien, lecturer at the Faculty of Literature, University of Social Sciences and Humanities (Vietnam National University, Hanoi) analyzes in depth the choices of “homeland” in French female writers of Vietnamese origin. Associate Professor Dr. Nguyen Thi My Liem (Saigon University) analyzes the Western instrumental compositions of overseas Vietnamese people with strong Vietnamese elements, interested in the philosophy of life...
