Mr. Nguyen Thanh Sang confided that he had known that this frog farming profession was developing in the western provinces and had learned some experiences from predecessors, so he really wanted to do a frog breeding model.

After getting married, Mr. Sang and his wife decided to return to their hometown to build a model of raising frog breeds to supply to farmers. After discussing with his family, Mr. Sang initially bought 20 pairs of parent frogs and released them in 2 ponds.
After the frog farming process, Mr. Sang failed, the reason was that the local weather was very different from the western provinces. With his youthful energy and desire, he was not discouraged and continued to learn from the experiences of those who went before him to make models.

His efforts have brought success, during this period he provided both commercial frogs and frog breeds to customers. Gradually, the demand for frog breeds increased, so his family focused on raising frog breeds to sell to customers.
On average, Mr. Sang supplies the market with about 30,000 frog breeds each month. Photo: Cong Tam
Currently, Mr. Sang's family has developed 220 parent frogs, on average producing about 30,000 baby frogs per month, with the market price ranging from 800 VND - 1,200 VND/frog, after deducting expenses, the monthly profit is 15 million VND.

Mr. Sang said that frog products are currently not only supplied to neighboring communes but also to all provinces and cities in the country. In addition to providing breeds, he also supports customers with farming techniques.

Mr. Sang believes that frogs are fast growing, reproduce a lot, have easy to find food and are easily consumed by the market, so farmers can rest assured about the output. In addition to selling in the traditional way, Mr. Sang's family has now learned and researched selling through social networking sites, so farmers can access them more easily.

In the near future, he plans to continue to expand the frog breeding model to meet the market demand of farmers and is willing to share his experience with farmers who share the same passion for frog breeding to develop the economy in rural areas.
