OCB and Genesia Ventures Vietnam Investment Fund signed a strategic cooperation agreement

OCB and Genesia Ventures Investment Fund in Vietnam signed a strategic cooperation agreement to support the development of technology startups in Vietnam. Accordingly, Genesia Ventures will introduce startups in its investment portfolio in Vietnam to Orient Commercial Bank ( OCB ) and the bank will review and provide financial products and services suitable to the needs of startups. This activity will create conditions for OCB to provide flexible financial solutions and advanced digital financial products and services, helping startups invested by Genesia Ventures Fund in Vietnam easily access necessary financial resources. This is considered an important step to promote the comprehensive development of the startup ecosystem in Vietnam, creating momentum for rapid and sustainable growth.

It is known that Genesia Ventures is an investment fund based in Japan, focusing on investing in Seed and Pre-A stage startups in four main markets: Japan, Indonesia, Vietnam and India. In Vietnam, Genesia Ventures has invested in 14 startups. Last June, the Fund launched Genesia Orbit HCMC - a workspace and connection to support startups to develop.
