
The program, jointly produced by Kinh te & Do thi Newspaper, Viet Nam Women's Newspaper, and Oscar Media Advertising Joint Stock Company (Oscar Media), has become an annual meeting point for audiences every Vu Lan season from 2017 to present.

Attending the program were Party Central Committee member, Vice President of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, President of the Vietnam Women's Union Nguyen Thi Tuyen; Permanent Vice President of the Central Theoretical Council Ta Ngoc Tan; Vice Chairman of the Hanoi People's Committee Truong Viet Dung.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, journalist Nguyen Thanh Loi, Editor-in-Chief of Kinh te & Do thi Newspaper, Head of the Organizing Committee, affirmed that “The Grace of Parenthood” is not only an occasion to show gratitude to parents, but also an opportunity for us to express gratitude to the Fatherland, to previous generations - those who sacrificed their blood and bones for the independence and freedom of the nation.

“This year, the program is held at a time when the whole country has many activities to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the successful August Revolution (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2025) and National Day (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025). This is also an opportunity to pay tribute to those who have contributed, to express deep gratitude to the Vietnamese Heroic Mothers, wounded soldiers, and martyrs - those who sacrificed their blood for the independence and freedom of the Fatherland. The program also contributes to educating the younger generation, sowing the seeds of filial piety, patriotism and civic consciousness among young people,” emphasized journalist Nguyen Thanh Loi.

With elaborate staging, rich in symbolism, the program leads the audience through many emotions, from paternal love, maternal love to love for the homeland. Through each song, dance, and play, the audience appreciates family love, loves their parents, and deepens each person's responsibility to the community and the Fatherland.
The art program “Grateful for Parents 2025” includes the opening performance of the Xam song “Father's merit and mother's merit” – the song “Lullaby of the Country”; a report on the meaningful series of activities “Grateful for Parents 2025” and an art program.

Viewers were truly moved and deeply moved when watching the reportage about visits and gratitude to Vietnamese Heroic Mothers, people with meritorious services and relatives of martyrs; visiting martyrs' cemeteries, giving gifts to families with preferential policies, homeless elderly people, and those in difficult circumstances across the country. The touching images and sharing evoked in viewers gratitude and filial piety.

The art program consists of 3 chapters. Chapter 1 has the theme “Vietnamese Mother”, depicting the sacred relationship between mother and Fatherland, mothers who have silently contributed to shaping the country. Chapter 2 has the theme “Grace of giving birth”, honoring the gratitude of giving birth and raising children. Chapter 3 has the theme “Fulfilling filial piety”, spreading the message of love, emphasizing the value of filial piety in modern life, as a reminder to live up to the duty of being a child.

During the program, the audience enjoyed many unique, profound, and meaningful art performances about the immense merit of parents, such as "Mother's Lullaby", "Mother's Legend", "Rest in Peace, Mother", "I Want to Stay Here", "Green Windows", "Mother - White Rose", "A Bowl of Salty Rice"... especially the touching skit "Mother's Tears".
With the participation of many famous artists, such as Meritorious Artist Vu Thang Loi; singer My Linh, artists Mai Tuyet Hoa, Phuong Thanh, Vy Oanh, Minh Quan, Kyo York, Ngoc Ky, Viet Danh, Minh Duc, Ngoc Lien, Thanh Tai, Ngoc Khanh Chi... and artists from Vietnam Drama Theater, Tre Dance Group, and Childhood Stars Club, the program left a deep impression on the audience.
