In a special speech on Cambodian National Television, Prime Minister Hun Sen said the King will issue a decree appointing a new Prime Minister - Mr. Hun Manet - in about 3 weeks.
According to Khmer Times and Xinhua News Agency, on the afternoon of July 26, Cambodian Prime Minister Samdech Techo Hun Sen announced that he would resign after 38 years as Prime Minister of Cambodia.
In a special speech on Cambodian National Television, Prime Minister Hun Sen said the King will issue a decree appointing a new Prime Minister - Mr. Hun Manet - in about 3 weeks.
Prime Minister Hun Sen affirmed that he will not interfere in Mr. Hun Manet's work in his new position.
