Mr. Nguyen Quang Minh holds the position of Chairman of Lam Dong Red Cross Society

Attending the conference were Ms. Do Thi Que Phuong, Vice Chairwoman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee.

The conference approved the Decisions of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Red Cross Society on recognizing the Executive Committee (EC) and the provisional Standing Committee (SBC) of the Lam Dong Provincial Red Cross Society (new); and recognizing the positions of Chairman and Vice Chairmen of the Lam Dong Provincial Red Cross Society (new).

According to the decisions, the provisional Executive Committee of the Lam Dong Provincial Red Cross Association (new) was established on the basis of merging the Executive Committees of the Binh Thuan Provincial Red Cross Association (term VII, term 2022 - 2027), the Dak Nong Provincial Red Cross Association (term IV, term 2022 - 2027) and the Lam Dong Provincial Red Cross Association (term IX, term 2021 - 2026), with 41 members.

The Provisional Standing Committee, consisting of 15 members, was also formed from the merger of the three above-mentioned units.

Recognize Mr. Nguyen Quang Minh, Chairman of the old Lam Dong Provincial Red Cross Association (term IX, term 2021-2026) to hold the position of Chairman of the Lam Dong Provincial Red Cross Association (new).

The conference also announced the decision to recognize 6 new Vice Chairmen of the Lam Dong Provincial Red Cross Association, including Mr. and Mrs. Nguyen Thi Thanh Nhan, Nguyen Thi Chin, Nguyen Thi Ha, Nguyen Thanh Cong, Kim De and Ho Thi Nghia.

The conference approved the decision to recognize the provisional Inspection Board of the Lam Dong Provincial Red Cross Association (new) consisting of 9 people.

In his acceptance speech, Mr. Nguyen Quang Minh, Chairman of the Lam Dong Provincial Red Cross Association, expressed his honor to be trusted and pledged to continue promoting the tradition of humanity and solidarity with the Association to excellently complete the assigned tasks. He affirmed: "The Provincial Red Cross Association will constantly innovate its activities, worthy of being a bridge of humanity, contributing to building Lam Dong province to be more and more prosperous and civilized."

gen-h-FIGURE 6 — At the conference, delegates also joined hands to support people affected by storms No. 10 and 11, demonstrating the spirit of sharing and humanity - the core values of the Vietnam Red Cross movement.

According to the decision, the Chairman of the Association is responsible for leading and directing the Lam Dong Provincial Red Cross Association to continue implementing the Association's activities and preparing to organize the Provincial Red Cross Association Congress according to the instructions of the competent authority and the Central Association until the election of the Executive Committee and Standing Committee for the new term.
