Many critics and literary friends of Associate Professor Dr. Nguyen The Ky have praised the author's efforts and dedication in patiently and passionately spending 20 years collecting and analyzing domestic and foreign documents to write a massive novel about Uncle Ho.

The novel is written with boundless love and respect for Uncle Ho.

The book "Nuon non van dam" consists of 5 volumes, which will be released to readers from 2022: Debt to the country (2022), Drifting on the four seas (2023), From Viet Bac to Hanoi (early 2024), Road to Dien Bien (late 2024) and Vietnam - Ho Chi Minh (May 2025).

The novel series has a cover and 47 illustrations by artist Nguyen Phuc Thang.

Mr. Nguyen The Ky said that this is a novel series that he has cherished, prepared and implemented for 20 years, through meticulous and serious research on history, politics and culture; through experience and accumulation of life experience over many years in his hometown Nghe An and many other regions in and outside the country.

And above all, he wrote with boundless love for President Ho Chi Minh.

Along with the novel, author Nguyen The Ky adapted the stage script and staged it into 5 plays, equivalent to 5 volumes. Currently, the first play, Debt to the Country , has been performed in many provinces and cities and has been awarded many literary and artistic awards.

Dr. Bui The Duc - Deputy Head of the Subcommittee on Literature and Art Criticism, Central Council of Theory, was impressed that the novel recreated Uncle Ho's entire life and revolutionary career through literary language.

Mr. Bui The Duc hopes that author Nguyen The Ky will continue to adapt the novel to the stage, continuing the play " Debt to the Country" that the author has built since the first volume of the novel.

Literary critic Bui Viet Thang highly appreciated the effort that Mr. Nguyen The Ky put into researching and writing the novel " Nuon non van dam" for 20 years.

He was very impressed when he opened the novel " Nuon Son Van Dau" (Thousand Miles of Mountains and Rivers) and met the great man of everyday life, Ho Chi Minh, and met a writer who worked with passion and was filled with love for Uncle Ho.
