DNO - On the morning of August 26, at the first Executive Committee meeting of the Association of Victims of Agent Orange/Dioxin in Da Nang City, it was unanimously elected Mr. Nguyen Van An, Chairman of the Association of Victims of Agent Orange/Dioxin in Da Nang City (old) as Chairman of the Association of Victims of Agent Orange/Dioxin in Da Nang City after the merger.

The conference approved the content of the merger plan between the City Association (formerly Da Nang) and the Provincial Association (formerly Quang Nam ), the list of Executive Committee, Standing Committee, and Inspection Committee of the Association of Victims of Agent Orange/Dioxin in Da Nang city after the merger.

The report for the first 8 months of 2025 of the City Association of Victims of Agent Orange/Dioxin said that all levels of the association have made efforts to overcome difficulties, ensuring that work activities from the city to the grassroots have achieved quite positive results.

The member associations at all levels mobilized domestic and foreign organizations and individuals with a total value of 10.7 billion VND. The Association, the Agent Orange Victim Support Center and member associations at all levels organized care and assistance for Agent Orange victims with a total budget of 5.5 billion VND.

The Association regularly maintains boarding care for 90 Agent Orange victims and disabled children at the City Center for Supporting Agent Orange Victims and Unfortunate Children; and detoxifying steam baths for 52 Agent Orange victims and people in need of safety.

Regarding the tasks from now until the end of the year, the City Association of Victims of Agent Orange/Dioxin will mobilize and care for victims of Agent Orange; participate in propaganda to contribute more voices with the Central Association and the whole country to fight for justice for victims of Agent Orange.

Actively guide and inspect the work of arranging, merging and establishing Associations for Victims of Agent Orange/Dioxin at commune and ward levels, consolidate and build association organizations from the city to the grassroots level; focus on successfully implementing the project of a Friendly City for Children with Disabilities...
