At the Forum on Developing New Impetus for the Nation & Launching Ceremony of the Strategic Human Resources Alliance to Implement Resolution 57-NQ/TW held in Hanoi, Mr. Truong Gia Binh - Chairman of the Board of Directors of FPT Corporation shared a strong message from Resolution 68-NQ/TW of General Secretary To Lam.

Mr. Binh emphasized: “Entrepreneurs are soldiers on the economic front”. However, according to Mr. Binh, today’s war is no longer a war with military weapons like in the past, but a war of knowledge, technology and especially AI human resources.

Mr. Truong Gia Binh emphasized that if in 1945, Vietnam needed universal education so that everyone could read and write, today everyone needs to know how to use technology, especially artificial intelligence, to keep up with the development of the world. Every Vietnamese student today needs to be equipped with knowledge about technology, AI skills, and the ability to work with international experts.

Warning about falling behind in the global value chain, Mr. Binh said: “If we cannot train AI human resources, we will be left out of the technology game, but if we take the lead in AI training, Vietnam will rise to become a global workforce in this field.”

At the seminar "Developing new momentum for the country: Human resources to implement Resolution 57-NQ/TW", speakers affirmed that the application of science and technology and artificial intelligence is not just a trend, but a revolution, especially in the field of education.

To keep up with this trend, Vietnam needs to prepare a workforce with sufficient capacity to carry out the country's important tasks in the context of strong digital transformation.

Ms. Pham Thi Ngoc Thuy, Director of the Private Economic Development Research Board (Board IV), shared that the human factor is the key to effectively connecting businesses and the national economy.

The speakers agreed that a new workforce is needed – what we might call “Engineers 57” . These engineers need not only technical knowledge but also practical skills to participate in digital transformation.

Mr. Nguyen Van Khoa – FPT General Director – believes that Resolution 57-NQ/TW is a revolution that opens up opportunities for early development of science and technology human resources. FPT brings big problems of enterprises and the country into schools, helping students shape their future roles as engineers, scientists, and science and technology managers. This is the fundamental foundation for nurturing strategic human resources for the knowledge economy.

FPT also called on technology companies to join the Strategic Human Resources Alliance to expand their deployment power. The goal is that by 2045, Vietnam will have a team of world-class managers and scientists, contributing to building a nation based on science and technology.

With the aim of contributing to building and developing a generation of human resources with good professional capacity, understanding of technology, equipped with necessary knowledge and skills, ready to participate in implementing Resolution 57-NQ/TW, academies and universities have signed to establish and launch the Strategic Human Resources Alliance to implement Resolution 57-NQ/TW.

Representatives of 5 leading academies, universities and colleges participated in the signing, including: Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics; Academy of Cryptography; Hanoi University of Science and Technology; University of Technology - Vietnam National University, Hanoi; FPT University.

In addition, FPT University announced a strategic reserve force training program including 8 additional knowledge blocks, necessary for students in the new context such as: State management and public administration; Data management & information security; Project management & innovation management; Education & digital human resource development, etc.

Resolution 57-NQ/TW was issued by the Politburo in 2024 with a strategic vision on using science, technology, innovation and digital transformation as important breakthroughs to promote national development in the digital age. One of the core objectives of the Resolution is to develop human resources, especially cadres, civil servants and employees capable of organizing and implementing digital transformation at a national scale.
