Petrolimex - Thua Thien Hue Petroleum Company joint venture was identified as the investor of the Km334+900 rest stop construction investment project under the North - South Expressway Eastern Component Project, Van Phong - Nha Trang section.

The Director of the Vietnam Expressway Administration has just issued Decision No. 13/QD - CĐCTVN approving the results of selecting investors for the project to invest in and operate the rest stop station at Km334+900 under the Van Phong - Nha Trang section project on the North - South expressway in the East.

Accordingly, the name of the winning investor is the Vietnam National Petroleum Group - Thua Thien Hue Petroleum Company Joint Venture with the value in money paid to the state budget of 110 billion VND; the preliminary cost of project implementation is 201,483 billion VND; the value of compensation, support and resettlement is 31,417 billion VND.

This project has an overall progress of 11 months, of which the time to complete public service works is 8 months. The project exploitation time after completing the investment work is 25 years.

Project Management Board 7, as the bidding party, is assigned, based on the results of investor selection, to organize the implementation of the next steps in compliance with the provisions of the Bidding Law and Decree No. 115/2024/ND-CP.

During the implementation process, pay attention to negotiating with the winning investor to shorten the progress of public works to serve the essential needs of people and vehicles participating in traffic on the route.

Thus, as of February 18, 2025, 12/21 investment projects to operate rest stops on the Eastern North-South Expressway have found investors, of which the consortium led by Petrolimex won 6 projects.

In addition to the rest stop on the Van Phong - Nha Trang expressway, 5 other North - South expressway rest stop projects that the consortium led by Petrolimex won the bid include: Investment and business project for the rest stop construction at Km725+500 under the Van Ninh - Cam Lo section; Mai Son - National Highway 45; Nghi Son - Dien Chau; Dien Chau - Bai Vot; Nha Trang - Cam Lam.
