Launching the "Beautiful Vietnamese Handwriting" contest for primary school students nationwide

NDO - The "Vietnamese Beautiful Handwriting" contest aims to encourage children to practice beautiful handwriting, contributing to preserving and spreading the traditional cultural values ​​of the nation. This is a completely free contest, creating a playground for students to practice handwriting, forming perseverance and discipline.


On the evening of November 23, in Hanoi , Tien Phong Joint Stock Company in collaboration with Thanh Chuong Company Limited (Eras Office) and the Vietnamese Beautiful Calligraphy Club launched the 2nd "Vietnamese Beautiful Calligraphy" Contest for primary school students nationwide.

The contest aims to encourage students to practice beautiful handwriting, contributing to preserving and spreading the traditional cultural values ​​of the nation. With the theme "Dreams for You", the contest aims to inspire students to share their thoughts and aspirations through each stroke of the handwriting.

According to the Organizing Committee, the contestants are primary school students nationwide. Candidates can register for the contest in two ways: individuals register directly or register for the contest through centers, clubs, primary schools, the Departmentof Education and Training or the Department of Education and Training.

Evaluation criteria include accuracy, beauty, uniformity, and correct spelling of handwriting according to regulations on promulgating handwriting models in primary schools issued by the Minister of Education and Training.

Speaking at the ceremony, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Tien Phong Company, Head of the Organizing Committee of the contest, Bui Van Phuong emphasized: Writing has long been a symbol of knowledge, culture and an indispensable part of the journey of education and maturity of a person. Handwriting partly expresses the personality, soul and thinking of the writer.

Practicing handwriting not only helps students perfect their skills, but also helps foster perseverance, discipline, and respect for knowledge. These are the fundamental factors for students to build their personality and conquer their dreams in the future.

Through the contest, students express their thoughts, feelings and dreams through each stroke of the pen, helping them shape their self-worth, nurture their aspirations and record their pure dreams towards a bright future.

The contest is expected to be divided into two rounds, in which the preliminary round will start from the launch date until March 25, 2025, with students taking two written tests; the final round is expected to take place on April 19 and 20, 2025 in Hanoi. Outstanding students from the preliminary round will demonstrate their talents before a panel of judges, including teachers and experts in the fields of education and culture.

The Organizing Committee will award 1,000 prizes to the contestants. Of which, 5 First Prizes, each prize includes a Certificate and a prize of 10 million VND, gifts; 10 Second Prizes, each prize includes a Certificate, a prize of 3 million VND, and gifts; 12 Third Prizes, each prize includes a Certificate, 1 million VND, and gifts; 20 Fourth Prizes, each prize includes a Certificate, 500,000 VND, and gifts; 453 Encouragement Prizes. In addition, the contest will also award collective prizes and 500 promising prizes, media prizes, etc.
