3 cases positive for SARS-CoV-2 detected at school in Ba Ria city

These are the first cases detected at thiseducational institution in the new outbreak. In response to the above situation, the health sector of Ba Ria City urgently isolated, investigated the epidemic and implemented measures to handle the outbreak from May 19 to 27, including at the school and three related households in Long Phuoc commune, Hoa Long commune and Phuoc Nguyen ward.

The medical team has disinfected the entire area and instructed people to use Cloramin B to clean surfaces, houses and household items. The cases are required to wear masks, self-isolate at home for at least 5 days and limit contact until the end of the 10th day after the onset of the disease or positive test result.

At the same time, the medical team continued to monitor the epidemic developments within 8 days, closely monitoring cases at risk and compliance with epidemic prevention measures at home and school to prevent the risk of spreading in the community.
