NDO - "Promoting the cultural identity and people of Hai Phong in the cause of building and developing the city and the country" is the theme of the workshop organized by Hai Phong city on March 28 with the participation of many representatives of leaders at all levels, sectors, cultural researchers, historical sciences of the Central Government and Hai Phong city.

The workshop is a practical activity towards the 70th anniversary of Hai Phong City Liberation Day (May 13, 1955 - May 13, 2025) and continues to promote the tradition of "Loyalty - Determination to Win" of the land and people of Hai Phong, actively contributing to the strong development of the country in the new era.

According to Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Hai Phong City Tran Thi Hoang Mai, Hai Phong has a long history and a strategic position in the process of building and defending the nation.

Generations of Hai Phong people have made important contributions to fostering and shining the Vietnamese cultural identity, while at the same time creating a unique cultural identity for the residents of the eastern coastal region of the Northern Delta.

The heroic historical tradition of the land and people of Hai Phong is always preserved and strongly promoted in construction and development.

The workshop was held to continue to conduct in-depth and comprehensive research on the cultural values and people of Hai Phong - the endogenous source of strength and driving force for development.

At the same time, the results of the workshop will provide important scientific arguments for the city to propose policies and solutions to promote the cultural identity and people of Hai Phong, contributing to the sustainable development of the city and the country in the new era.
