In the new rural construction program, in addition to mobilizing diverse resources to invest in building technical infrastructure, localities in the province also promote the role of socio-political organizations in participating in implementing and completing many important targets and criteria, especially environmental criteria. Through practical movements and actions, organizations make an important contribution to making the rural environment always bright - green - clean - beautiful, helping localities maintain and uphold environmental criteria in building new rural areas, advanced new rural areas, and model new rural areas.

For a long time, the activities of planting and caring for flower roads; sorting and treating household waste; collecting scrap, plastic waste... have become regular activities associated with movements and campaigns launched and implemented by provincial women's unions at all levels, especially in the implementation of the Campaign to build families of "5 no, 3 clean", "5 yes, 3 clean"... In Binh Luc district, in recent times, district women's unions at all levels have actively encouraged members to participate in environmental protection by responding to the program "Women cultivate the future - for the benefit of ten years of planting trees, for the benefit of a hundred years of cultivating people". Accordingly, on average, each year, unions at all levels participate in planting about 70,000 trees of all kinds. In 2024, implementing the model of skillful mass mobilization to build a "5 yes, 3 clean" family, in addition to giving trash cans to participating households, the district's women's union at all levels has promoted propaganda, raised awareness and knowledge for members about waste classification at home, and at the same time mobilized households to actively participate in the model.

In addition, responding to the movements of "Volunteer Saturday" and "Green Sunday", the Youth Union chapters at all levels in the province have organized campaigns to clean up the environment, collect waste, dredge canals, remove advertisements and advertisements on the streets, etc. Through these activities and movements on environmental protection, the message has been conveyed, calling on union members, youth and people from all walks of life to actively join hands in building a green and clean environment. The active participation of socio-political organizations has helped Ha Nam province build thousands of flower and tree-lined roads. In communes, wards and towns, many models of environmental protection teams, groups and clubs of associations and organizations have been established and operated effectively... From there, contributing to helping communes complete the goal of building advanced new-style rural communes and model new-style rural communes according to the set roadmap. Accordingly, many models and movements for environmental protection have been built and replicated throughout the province such as: models of collecting and classifying waste at households; green tree-lined roads; linkage models in agricultural production; models of treating organic waste as fertilizer at households; general cleaning of village roads and alleys; planting flowers and trees to create a bright - green - clean - beautiful environmental landscape...

With the policy of no stopping point, the new rural construction program will continue to aim for higher goals with the quality of criteria constantly being improved and enhanced, especially criteria that have a direct impact on the quality of people's lives such as environmental criteria. In the coming time, localities will continue to replicate and spread good and effective practices, promoting the role of associations and unions in environmental protection.
