Promoting the role of women in building cultural life

Officials, members and women of Thanh Hoa City performed a folk dance in Ao Dai, aiming to realize the goal of making the value of Ao Dai a Vietnamese Cultural Heritage.

In line with Resolution No. 33-NQ/TW of the Party Central Committee (11th tenure) on "Building and developing Vietnamese culture and people to meet the requirements of sustainable national development"; Resolution of the 19th Provincial Party Congress on "Building and developing Thanh Hoa culture and people to meet the requirements of rapid and sustainable development of the province and the country"..., women's unions at all levels in the province have implemented many activities to support women, aiming to foster the good values ​​of Vietnamese families. In particular, focusing on activities such as: Innovating content, diversifying forms of propaganda and education to raise awareness for cadres, members, women and the community about the role of women in building Thanh Hoa culture and people; launching and widely implementing the emulation movement "Women actively study, work creatively, build happy families"; The campaign "Training moral qualities: Confidence, self-respect, loyalty, and responsibility" associated with studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality, and style; concretizing the emulation movement "Building Vietnamese women of the new era" with the core criteria "Having knowledge, morality, health, and responsibility for oneself, family, society, and country"...

On that basis, all levels of the association from the provincial to the grassroots level actively and effectively carry out the movement "All people unite to build a cultural life", the campaign "Building a family of 5 no's, 3 clean's", "Building a family of 5 yes's, 3 clean's"... associated with implementing a cultural and civilized urban lifestyle; participating in preserving traditional culture through festivals, cultural and artistic activities to celebrate major holidays of the country, the province and the locality; deploying the construction of models and clubs on building and developing culture... In particular, all levels of the association promote the implementation of Directive No. 27-CT/TW of the Politburo on "Implementing a civilized lifestyle in weddings, funerals and festivals"; Directive No. 41-CT/TW of the Secretariat on "Strengthening the Party's leadership in festival management and organization" associated with the implementation of Conclusion No. 684-KL/TU of the Provincial Party Standing Committee on "Strengthening mass mobilization work in the Mong ethnic minority area of ​​Thanh Hoa province, period 2021-2025"... Thereby, many organizations have built movements and good models that have come into life, such as: Sam Son women are civilized, friendly, and beautiful in the hearts of friends and tourists; Nga Son women carry out the "5 best" movement; Thanh Hoa city women with the movement "City people speak good words, do good deeds, act friendly" with the motto "Strong rear - fulfilling society"; Muong Lat district women preserve and promote the cultural values ​​of Mong ethnic minorities...

With the annual target of each association organizing at least one type of activity to improve knowledge, cultivate morality, and improve health for members and women, 100% of the associations have formed and maintained cultural - artistic, physical training - sports activities, creating playgrounds, opportunities for exchange and expanding the practice movement. Notably, the folk dance movement is increasingly developing, becoming a form of community cultural activity. Especially through the competitions "Online folk dance and sports in the association system", "Lullaby, folk song singing and folk dance and sports", folk dance and sports performances; responding to the "Vietnamese Ao Dai" Week on the occasion of International Women's Day (March 8) and the establishment of the Vietnam Women's Union (October 20) ... have become the activities and brands of the association. Thereby contributing to realizing the goal of making the value of Ao Dai become a Vietnamese Cultural Heritage.

The development of cultural, artistic, physical training and sports activities has helped all levels of the provincial Women's Union to integrate propaganda and mobilize women to effectively implement the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's policies and laws; emulation movements, campaigns of the Union and local political tasks. Up to now, the province has thousands of models and clubs. Through movements and activities, more than 10,000 typical examples have been commended and rewarded.

Comrade Ngo Thi Hong Hao, Provincial Party Committee member, Chairwoman of the Provincial Women's Union, said: By closely following the directives of the Party Committee, the government and the superior unions, the provincial unions have played a good role in preserving and promoting the traditional cultural values ​​of the nation, while actively building grassroots cultural life from the smallest things. Through specific models and movements, the unions at all levels have been implementing not only to create a healthy playground and a vibrant competitive atmosphere, but also to affirm that Thanh Hoa women are increasingly knowledgeable, culturally-minded, healthy, dynamic, creative, actively competing, and contributing to the cause of building the homeland and the country.
