Besides, editorial offices are waiting for revenue from sources unrelated to publishing, which are sources not from readers, not from advertising (accounting for 20%).
Notably, the most important source is event organization. Many newsrooms reported that this source of revenue accounts for 30%, followed by sponsorships and cooperation with other platforms.

Associate Professor, Dr. Tran Quang Dieu believes that applying data science to develop outstanding journalistic content is an inevitable trend today.

According to Mr. Tran Quang Dieu, technology has made data appear as a new genre of journalism. From the idea, journalists will identify data, enrich data based on technology platforms, analyze and evaluate, then visualize before publishing.
Sharing the same view, Ms. Tran Le Thuy, a media and journalism expert, said that data journalism is an inevitable trend. Data journalism is a new field that combines knowledge from many different fields, such as social sciences, data science, computer science, data analysis, information design and storytelling. Data journalism is a new way of storytelling, bringing data into the story to create a new story that is attractive to readers and easy for readers to understand.

Data profession, along with journalistic production skills, can ensure fairness and accuracy in journalistic works, building trust with readers. This is an important strategy in building outstanding content.
Enhance Party spirit and orientation in press activities
Meanwhile, at the discussion session with the topic: "Enhancing Party spirit and orientation in press activities", taking place at the same time, journalist Nguyen Minh Duc - Editor-in-Chief of Hanoi Moi Newspaper acknowledged that information competition between mainstream press and social networks, information competition between press agencies is increasingly fierce. That competition is assessed on the aspects: timeliness, urgency, attractiveness, accuracy of information, creating attraction for readers.
Speaker presented at the discussion session on the topic: "Enhancing Party spirit and orientation in press activities".
According to journalist Nguyen Minh Duc, in reality, Party newspapers are facing challenges in ensuring the task of providing official, timely, and extensive information to all classes of people, especially fierce competition and negative impacts of social networks and other media channels.
"To have readers and retain readers, Party newspapers must renew themselves and maintain their own identity. At the same time, they must improve to quickly meet the need for information when public awareness is increasingly high" - journalist Nguyen Minh Duc said.
The proposed solution is that Party newspapers need to report news promptly and accurately; improve the skills and expertise of reporters, provide information that is attractive to readers; present information in a concise and selective manner. In addition, the presentation method must be diverse, making it easy for readers to access; focus on information that has a great impact on the people.
Editor-in-Chief of the Party Building Magazine Ngo Minh Tuan proposed four solutions to enhance Party spirit and orientation in press activities. Specifically, press agencies need to do a good job in personnel work and Party building; strengthen the management role of governing agencies; strengthen the role and innovate the ideological orientation work of the Central Propaganda Department; promote the core role of Party newspapers and magazines in enhancing Party spirit and orientation in press activities.
"The Party's press must identify one of its core tasks as enhancing its combativeness, criticism, and participation in exposing sinister plots to distort and deny the Party's leadership role over the State and society. Thereby, clarifying and correctly assessing historical truths, contributing to unifying ideological awareness in society on complex issues, contributing to maintaining political stability, protecting and creatively developing Marxism-Leninism and Ho Chi Minh Thought - the ideological foundation of our Party" - journalist Ngo Minh Tuan shared.
