Developing products for the market of gifts and souvenirs typical of Vinh Long local tourism

That was the theme of the workshop organized by the Union of Science and Technology Associations, together with the Tourism Association, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Vinh Long province, in coordination with Tan Hiep Phat II enterprise, on August 3 (photo).

The workshop aims to contribute to improving the capacity and promoting the role of associations, organizations, units, and local authorities to participate in propagating, mobilizing, and encouraging people to effectively implement the Party's guidelines and policies, in order to connect and coordinate all levels, sectors, and enterprises in organizing activities to promote tourism development in Vinh Long province to serve the socio -economic development needs of the locality.

At the same time, create favorable conditions for associations, organizations and individuals to promote their advantages, research, form and introduce specific tourism products of units, localities and individuals, in order to create attractive tourism products for tourists to visit, relax, and exchange culture, as well as meet the needs of tourists after leaving to have products and typical souvenirs brought back from Vinh Long province.

Thereby, tourists will have promotion of tourism and specialty goods, typical tourism products, to increase the commercialization of goods and tourism products of the province, directly contributing to production, business and other services, meeting the market demand for gifts, souvenirs of local and provincial tourism products, at the same time contributing to serving the socio-economic development needs of the province, the industry and localities in reality and in the future.
