Approving the pilot model of digital transformation in new rural construction in Gia Phu commune

The Provincial People's Committee has just issued Decision No. 788/QD-UBND approving the pilot model of digital transformation in new rural construction in Gia Phu commune, Bao Thang district.

The digital transformation model in Gia Phu commune, Bao Thang district was piloted to promote the application of information technology and digital transformation in the commune government, contributing to improving the capacity, effectiveness and efficiency of management and direction; helping local people access digital technology platforms in business and agricultural production.

This is also the first pilot model in the province to summarize, draw experiences, replicate and implement digital transformation at the commune level, building "Smart new rural communes" in communes in Lao Cai province.

The Department of Information and Communications is assigned to be the agency to establish a pilot model and preside over and coordinate with relevant agencies and units to organize the implementation of this model.

Implementing this model, Gia Phu commune will be invested in purchasing and installing 8 security surveillance cameras at the gate of Gia Phu 2 Primary School and some security and traffic hotspots, border areas; connecting and sharing camera data to the province's smart monitoring and operation center (IOC); 5 smart loudspeaker systems at schools and 2 markets in the commune; purchasing and supporting 1 laptop for the People's Committee of the commune to serve the implementation of professional tasks, supporting the implementation of digital technology applications, and handling administrative procedures in villages in the commune.
