National Assembly deputies express their opinions and voices
After 2.5 days, the National Assembly has concluded the question and answer session at the 6th Session of the 15th National Assembly. In the hallway of the National Assembly, the National Assembly deputies shared their thoughts about this question and answer session.
National Assembly Deputy Ta Van Ha ( Quang Nam delegation) assessed that the question-and-answer session at this meeting had many innovations, the atmosphere of questioning and answering questions was very frank, specific, and clear...
This time, the National Assembly questioned many very broad areas, without limiting the topics, but the Ministers and Heads of sectors had a very good grasp of the issues, including specific issues. The Ministers and Heads of sectors answered very clearly, basically meeting the requirements of the National Assembly Deputies and voters.
“This is also an opportunity for National Assembly deputies to inspect and supervise Ministers and Government members in fulfilling their promises at the question and answer sessions. It is also an opportunity for leaders of sectors and Government members to review the issues they are in charge of, monitor and implement to see if there are any shortcomings that are being raised from the perspective of the National Assembly,” said Mr. Ha.
However, according to the delegate, the connection and coordination between sectors to solve problems are still limited. "I hope that after the question-and-answer session, the Ministers and Sector Heads will focus more on speeding up the handling and solving of existing problems in the fields," Mr. Ha expressed.

National Assembly member Lo Thi Luyen (Dien Bien delegation) acknowledged that the question-and-answer session was lively and frank. “I was very impressed with the way the Minister of Finance and the Governor of the State Bank answered questions. In particular, National Assembly Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue conducted the question-and-answer session very comfortably and effectively,” Ms. Luyen said.
Ms. Luyen added that there were many issues that the National Assembly deputies had pursued through many sessions, this time they continued to question and were answered specifically.
“There are many specific issues at the local level that National Assembly deputies need to question, but they were not asked in this question-and-answer session, so we will send documents to Ministers and heads of sectors. We expect relevant units to respond and resolve the issues quickly and effectively,” said Ms. Luyen.
There has been frank admission of shortcomings.
Delegate Hoang Van Cuong (Hanoi delegation) commented that the questioning session of this 6th Session was different from the previous session. The reports of the Government and ministries and branches were presented quite thoroughly.
In addition, reviewing the contents and issues that National Assembly deputies mentioned and raised from the previous session helped the National Assembly assess the results that the Government has achieved, as well as remaining problems and obstacles in order to provide timely guidance.
Mr. Cuong said that this question and answer session does not pose new content for the Government but are all issues that have been mentioned in previous sessions and thematic supervision sessions.
In this questioning session, all industry leaders and Government members must review the issues they have raised and the promises they have made to voters and National Assembly deputies to see how far they have been implemented.
“This is also an opportunity for National Assembly deputies to express their opinions and voices on the work that ministries and branches have not yet done, as well as to make suggestions to the Government in implementing tasks in the coming time,” Mr. Cuong said.

Sharing about the National Assembly Chairman's questioning session, Mr. Cuong said that the Chairman's session was very flexible, especially closely following not only the questions of the National Assembly deputies but also linking the questions of the deputies about the fields of these sectors with other sectors. "The National Assembly Chairman has transferred the contents and requested other Ministers to provide additional answers," Mr. Cuong said.
“Therefore, I think that the question-and-answer session at this meeting is not only limited to National Assembly delegates, but also the National Assembly Chairman himself raises meaningful issues as a high-level questioner,” Mr. Cuong emphasized.
Regarding the implementation of the promises and commitments of the Ministers and Heads of sectors from the previous session, Mr. Cuong said that up to this stage, everything that has been done has been clearly stated. These are big issues, not all promises made in the previous session or last year can be implemented. Because it may take longer to implement.
"I think if the Ministers and Commanders of the industry can show us more roadmaps, we will feel more satisfied," Mr. Cuong shared.
National Assembly Deputy Nguyen Thi Suu (Thua Thien Hue delegation) highly appreciated the responses of the Government members. The female delegate expressed her impression and admiration for the way Deputy Prime Minister Tran Luu Quang solved the problem and answered the voters' concerns. According to the delegate, the Deputy Prime Minister's responses were honest, sincere, and bold in admitting shortcomings.
“When we boldly admit our shortcomings, we will overcome them and find a way out of difficulties and problems. It is not that the delegates want to question these issues, but these are difficult issues that need to be resolved and need a support, and the Government is one of the high supports that can resolve policies, thoughts and aspirations of voters,” said delegate Suu.
Besides, Ms. Suu also expressed her confidence in Government Inspector General Doan Hong Phong, who, when he first took over the position of Inspector General, was frank in admitting his shortcomings.
“However, we hope that in the near future, the Government Inspector General will have more drastic solutions to overcome the limitations and shortcomings that existed before and now, so that the inspection must be a “clear, bright, clean” sword, serving as a foundation to promote transparency in finance, economy, and the State budget…”, delegate Suu expressed .
