According to statistics from the independent box office website Box Office Vietnam (with errors), during the 3-day weekend (from July 25 to 27), Conan Movie 28: Afterimage of the One-Eyed achieved "huge" revenue of more than 52 billion VND. The film reached 549,861 tickets sold with 13,009 screenings.
Previously, although it was only shown early for 2 days, July 19 and 20, Conan Movie 28 made an impressive achievement. The film earned more than 48 billion VND, higher than the revenue of the entire market in the last 3 days of the weekend.
As of the morning of July 28, the film's total revenue has reached over 105 billion VND.
Conan Movie 28 marks the return of the trio of Nagano City police officers, with the central character being police officer Yamato Kansuke - who lost an eye after a serious avalanche. Ten months later, he reunites with the team of bearded detective Mori Kogoro and young Conan when they are investigating a mysterious assassination. The two seemingly unrelated cases possess clues that lead to a single answer for all - including Yamato's vague memories of the accident years ago.

Released in early April in the Japanese market, the film surprised audiences by becoming the highest opening in the history of the entire series, welcoming 2.3 million moviegoers to theaters with a revenue of more than 3.4 billion yen (more than 24 million USD), an increase of 3.7% compared to movie 27 released last year.
Up to now, the film has achieved a total global revenue of more than 100 million USD.
