On the morning of July 11, Comrade Kim Ngoc Thai - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee had a working session to inspect the progress of preparations for the Party Congress, the operation of the two-level local government, and the activities of the Public Administration Service Center in the two communes of Tap Son and Long Hiep.

The delegation included Mr. Chau Van Hoa - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; leaders of the Provincial Party Committee Office, Department of Science and Technology, Department of Home Affairs, Department of Finance, etc.

At the inspection, the Party Secretary of Tap Son and Long Hiep communes reported on the preparation work for the commune Party Congress. Accordingly, the draft documents for the congress have been completed; the work of building the political system, assigning specific tasks to the Party, State, and mass organizations of the commune has been carried out in accordance with the regulations of the new Vinh Long province.

Besides, after 10 days of operation, the Public Administration Service Center of communes has performed well in receiving and returning results according to the process. Of which, Tap Son commune received 340 records, processed 237 records on time, 96 records were transferred to specialized departments, 7 records were not processed because they did not have digital signatures to carry out the process. Long Hiep commune received and processed 158 records.

Through the report on the socio-economic situation in the first 6 months of the year and the plan for the last 6 months of the year, the 2 communes proposed to soon issue a document with detailed instructions on organizing the Party Congress, allocating funds for the Party Congress at the commune level; soon issue a decision on the work of the Military Command at the commune level; invest in equipment, issue digital signatures and accounts for leaders and civil servants of the Public Administration Service Center, to ensure effective operation and good service to the people and businesses.

During the inspection, the leaders of the Departments also discussed many issues related to the facilities and equipment serving the activities of the new communes, accounts, seals, arrangement of operating budget, payroll standards, accounting personnel of the new communes, and the activities of the Public Administration Service Center, focusing on digital transformation. In addition, the communes were requested to review their staff, and the Department of Home Affairs was requested to train cadres and civil servants of the communes to ensure the requirements for serving the tasks in the new period; pay attention to the development of the digital economy and digital society, etc.

In his concluding remarks, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee - Kim Ngoc Thai highly appreciated the preparations for the Party Congress and the activities of the Public Administration Service Centers of the communes. The Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee requested the two communes to continue to do a good job in preparing for the Party Congress of the commune, reviewing the congress documents, the personnel of the Executive Committee and the Standing Committee to match the new commune's tasks and be suitable for the upcoming socio-economic development process.

In particular, promote the spirit of solidarity, propagate to cadres, civil servants and people the unity of "one province - one will - one action".
