On the morning of September 28, at Cau Giay Stadium, Hanoi, Party Central Committee member, Vice Chairwoman of the National Assembly Nguyen Thi Thanh attended the 2025 National Assembly Sports Tournament. This is an activity to celebrate the success of the 1st National Assembly Party Congress, term 2025 - 2030, towards the 80th anniversary of the first General Election to elect the Vietnamese National Assembly (January 6, 1946 - January 6, 2026).

Also attending were: Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Secretary of the National Assembly Party Committee Vu Hai Ha; Deputy Secretary of the National Assembly Party Committee Dang Xuan Phuong, Deputy Secretary of the National Assembly Party Committee Phung Khanh Tai, representatives of Party Committees under the National Assembly Party Committee and nearly 200 athletes participating in the Tournament.

Party Central Committee member, Deputy Secretary of the National Assembly Party Committee Vu Hai Ha, Deputy Secretary of the National Assembly Party Committee Phung Khanh Tai and delegates attended the opening ceremony of the 2025 National Assembly Sports Tournament.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Deputy Secretary of the National Assembly Party Committee Dang Xuan Phuong stated that in the exciting and competitive atmosphere welcoming the success of the 1st National Assembly Party Congress, term 2025 - 2030, the Standing Committee of the National Assembly Party Committee directed the National Assembly Youth Union to organize the 2025 National Assembly Sports Tournament.

The Deputy Secretary of the National Assembly Party Committee emphasized that the Sports Tournament was organized with the desire to create a playground, exchange and connection between units under the National Assembly Party Committee; contributing to improving the cultural, spiritual and physical life of cadres, party members, civil servants, public employees, union members, youth and workers to continue to successfully carry out tasks in the coming time.

According to the competition schedule, athletes will compete on September 28. Specifically, from 8:30 am to 4 pm, pickleball will be played. From 2 pm to 4 pm, tug of war will be played. The closing ceremony is scheduled to take place at 5 pm.
