Special mark of the 2025 Ho Chi Minh City Women's Newspaper Pickleball Tournament

On the morning of November 8, the 3rd Ho Chi Minh City Women's Newspaper Cup Pickleball Tournament 2025 officially opened, promising to bring many attractive competitions and beautiful balls. In particular, the family content appeared for the first time, becoming a special mark of the tournament.

Carrying the message “Increase love - Increase health”, the pickleball tournament organized by Ho Chi Minh City Women's Newspaper is in response to the campaign “All people exercise following the example of great Uncle Ho”, and at the same time celebrates the 95th anniversary of Vietnamese Women's Day October 20.

This year's tournament attracted 294 athletes (147 pairs) from Ho Chi Minh City and many provinces and cities such as Can Tho , Lam Dong, Dong Nai, Dak Lak... competing in 9 categories: husband and wife pairs under 45 years old; husband and wife pairs over 45 years old; female pairs 4.5; female pairs 6.5; female pairs of famous people; male pairs of famous people; female pairs of civil servants; male pairs of civil servants and family teammates.

The whole family competes together in one event

The Ho Chi Minh City Women's Newspaper's pickleball tournament is a tournament where the whole family can become athletes competing together in the same competition category: family team (husband and wife and 1 child under 12 years old, competing in the categories: husband and wife, father and child, mother and child). The family category, appearing for the first time, has created a special impression in the Ho Chi Minh City Women's Newspaper's tournament, highlighting the message "Increase love - Increase health".

The husband and wife (over and under 45 years old) category received the most attention. The husband and wife under 45 years old category had 32 couples participating, while the husband and wife over 45 years old category had 27 couples competing.

This year's tournament attracted 294 athletes (147 pairs), competing in 9 events.

Not only stopping at professional and family competitions, the 3rd Ho Chi Minh City Women's Newspaper Pickleball Tournament in 2025 also has the participation of many artists competing in the content: famous female pairs and famous male pairs. The list of famous athletes includes veteran actors, models, singers such as Kim Thu, Le Nam, Le Thuy, Ung Dai Ve, Pham Anh Khoa, Hai Yen, Akira Phan, Phuc Bo, Diep Anh... to talented music producers and directors such as Duong Khac Linh, Only C, Quang Dung, Nhat Minh...

The matches will take place throughout November 8, promising to bring exciting, dramatic moments.
