At the reception, Ms. Marie-France Botte expressed her joy at visiting and working in Hue City, and thanked the warm welcome of the Hue City leaders during the delegation's attendance at the 45th AIMF General Assembly.

Ms. Marie-France Botte said that the cooperation programs between the two sides have been developed in recent times, contributing to promoting the bilateral cooperation relationship between the two cities. At the same time, she expressed her interest in harm reduction intervention and social rehabilitation programs in Hue.

Ms. Marie-France Botte said that Brussels has had many cooperation programs with Hue, especially in the fields ofeducation and culture. Universities in Hue such as the University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Hue University of Arts... have had joint training projects, student exchanges, and joint research with partners from Brussels. Hopefully, cooperation in the cultural field will be further promoted, focusing on heritage conservation, contemporary art, training of cultural human resources, and organizing cultural exchange events between the two sides. The delegation representative expressed the desire to continue to strengthen and expand multifaceted cooperation with Hue City.

He affirmed that over the past time, the bilateral relationship between Vietnam and the Kingdom of Belgium has been continuously consolidated and developed well in many fields, especially politics - diplomacy, trade, agriculture, education and training, science - technology, development cooperation... at the federal, regional and community levels. Hue City has established and promoted many effective cooperation activities with Belgian partners, especially in the fields of health, education - training and culture. In particular, over the past years, audiences have been impressed and delighted with the Belgian stilt troupe performing on the streets at each Hue Festival.

Mr. Nguyen Thanh Binh expressed his hope that in the coming time, cooperation between the two sides will be expanded, especially in areas that the city is in need of and Belgium in general, as well as the Wallonie - Brussels region in particular, have strengths in such as: green transportation, high technology, healthcare, education...
