The Ho Chi Minh Road project (Rach Soi - Ben Nhat, Go Quao - Vinh Thuan sections) has a total length of nearly 52km, invested by the Ho Chi Minh Project Management Board, with a total investment of over VND 3,904 billion.
The project affects 1,952 cases, with a total compensation of nearly 654 billion VND. As of November 24, 2025, 1,821 cases have been compensated and handed over the site, with an amount of over 569 billion VND.

Project for management, maintenance and repair of National Highway 61, section Km67+174 - Km94+273 (section coinciding with Ho Chi Minh Road), over 44km long through An Giang province. Currently, due to the impact of storms and post-storm circulation, the road surface is partially damaged.
Road Management Area IV is implementing emergency repairs, with a volume of about 13,000m2 , a cost of more than 4.2 billion VND, 75% of the volume has been completed, and repairs will be completed by the end of 2025.

Speaking at the working session with departments, branches, agencies, units and localities, Vice Chairman of An Giang Provincial People's Committee Ngo Cong Thuc requested Road Management Area IV to speed up the repair of damaged sections of National Highway 61; assigned the Department of Construction to propose the Vietnam Road Administration to soon approve the Project to repair roadbed, road surface, drainage system and complete the traffic safety system section Km67+174 - Km77+250.
Regarding the Vam Xang - Thi Doi Bridge Project, the Ho Chi Minh Road Construction Investment Project, Rach Soi - Ben Nhat, Go Quao - Vinh Thuan sections, the Vice Chairman of the An Giang Provincial People's Committee requested to step up propaganda and mobilization so that people can clearly understand the significance of the projects, thereby agreeing to hand over the site to the construction unit, the process of compensation and site clearance must be ensured in accordance with the provisions of law.
