Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Minh visited and presented gifts to meritorious people in Ham Thuan Nam and Phan Thiet City.

BTO-On the morning of April 18, on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025) and the Liberation of Binh Thuan Province (April 19, 1975 - April 19, 2025), Mr. Nguyen Minh - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee led a working delegation to visit and present gifts to policy families in Ham Thuan Nam district and Phan Thiet city.

Accompanying the delegation were Ms. Nguyen Thi Minh Hoang - Provincial Party Committee member, Secretary of Ham Thuan Nam District Party Committee; Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Thanh - Deputy Director of the Department of Home Affairs; representatives of the Provincial People's Committee Office and local government leaders.

In Ham Thuan Nam, the delegation visited Mr. Le Van Be (61% disabled soldier in Phu Tho village, Ham Cuong commune) and Mr. Vo Van Nhan (41% disabled soldier in Minh Thanh village, Ham Minh commune).

In Phan Thiet City, the delegation visited Mr. Le Tan Phuc (a 61% disabled soldier in Ward 8, Duc Long Ward). Despite their injuries and war consequences, the disabled soldiers all maintained an optimistic and clear-headed spirit, living together with their children and grandchildren.

Mr. Nguyen Minh, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, kindly asked about the health and life of each family; at the same time expressed deep gratitude for the sacrifices and contributions of the wounded and sick soldiers in the struggle for national independence and the construction of the homeland today. The Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee wished the wounded soldiers to continue to live healthy and happy lives, to be a spiritual support for their children and grandchildren and to be the core of patriotic emulation movements in the locality.

On this occasion, the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee presented gifts from the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee to the policy families. The war invalids expressed their emotions and gratitude for the timely visits and encouragement of the provincial leaders and local authorities to those who have contributed to the revolution.
