In Phan Thiet City, the delegation visited Mr. Le Tan Phuc (a 61% disabled soldier in Ward 8, Duc Long Ward). Despite their injuries and war consequences, the disabled soldiers all maintained an optimistic and clear-headed spirit, living together with their children and grandchildren.

Mr. Nguyen Minh, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, kindly asked about the health and life of each family; at the same time expressed deep gratitude for the sacrifices and contributions of the wounded and sick soldiers in the struggle for national independence and the construction of the homeland today. The Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee wished the wounded soldiers to continue to live healthy and happy lives, to be a spiritual support for their children and grandchildren and to be the core of patriotic emulation movements in the locality.
On this occasion, the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee presented gifts from the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee to the policy families. The war invalids expressed their emotions and gratitude for the timely visits and encouragement of the provincial leaders and local authorities to those who have contributed to the revolution.
