On the afternoon of March 25, a delegation from Yongin City, Gyeonggi Province (South Korea) led by Mr. Ryu Kwang Yoel - First Deputy Mayor of the city visited and worked at the People's Committee of Quang Nam Province. On behalf of the leaders of Quang Nam province, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Tran Anh Tuan thanked the delegation of Yongin city for accepting the invitation to attend the 50th anniversary of Quang Nam liberation and the 95th anniversary of the founding of the Provincial Party Committee.

Quang Nam and Yongin City signed a cooperation and friendship agreement in 2013. At the end of February, a delegation from Yongin City visited and worked in Quang Nam to discuss the orientation and implementation plan for cooperation and friendship exchange activities between the two localities. At the same time, a Memorandum of Understanding was signed between the People's Committee of Tam Ky City and the Yongin City Government, and the Korean International Lotus Village Organization.

Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Tran Anh Tuan hopes that the two sides will promote cooperation activities to further develop the friendly relations that have been established over the past 10 years, especially in the field of promoting tourism potential; cooperating in human resource training; cooperating in supporting Yongin enterprises to research and explore investment in Quang Nam and sending workers to work seasonally in Korea...

Mr. Ryu Kwang Yoel, on behalf of the Yongin City delegation, thanked Quang Nam Province for inviting and welcoming the delegation to the celebration – a meaningful event. Mr. Ryu Kwang Yoel said that the relationship with Quang Nam has achieved many results and meaningful activities in the past time. The government and the City Council always pay attention and give priority to cooperation activities with Quang Nam.

Mr. Ryu Kwang Yoel hopes that there will be exchanges and research to promote cooperation in areas of strength, contributing to the development of relations between the two sides such as student exchanges to contribute to human resource training; bringing Korean tourists to Hoi An, My Son; connecting and introducing Yongin city enterprises with Quang Nam enterprises; bringing Quang Nam workers to work in Korea in the agricultural sector.
