Tay Ninh women learn and follow Uncle Ho's example through specific and practical actions.

With the spirit of "Doing everything that benefits the people", over the past 10 years, studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style has become the foundation and guideline for the actions of all levels of the Women's Union and members of the Women's Union of Tay Ninh province.

From simple, specific actions in daily life to models with profound humanistic values, the movement of learning and following Uncle Ho in the Association system is spreading more and more widely, contributing to building the image of Tay Ninh women in the new era: confident, responsible and progressive.

Learn from Uncle Ho from simple things

Identifying learning and following Uncle Ho as a regular and important task, the Women's Union at all levels has concretized it with appropriate contents associated with political tasks and emulation movements in the locality. Every year, 100% of Women's Unions at all levels develop plans to learn and follow Uncle Ho, put them into regular activities, and integrate them into the activities of the branches and groups. The form of propaganda has been innovated and lively, attracting hundreds of thousands of members to participate.

Over the past 10 years, the province has organized more than 10,600 propaganda events with nearly 600,000 women participating; more than 1,000 news articles, 50 reports, thousands of good people and good deeds have been widely spread on newspapers, radio, social networks and the Association's website.

Learning from Uncle Ho is concretized into familiar actions such as saving electricity, water, and stationery in the office; using information technology in operations and management to reduce costs and improve work efficiency; practicing savings in family and community life to raise scholarship funds and help each other develop the economy .

The models of revolving savings, piggy bank raising, collecting scrap metal to raise funds for Tran Thi Sanh scholarships... have been effectively maintained at all levels of the Association, attracting over 100,000 members to participate, saving over 7.8 billion VND, awarding over 12,000 scholarships, giving notebooks, bicycles, and school supplies to poor but studious students.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Lanh (born in 1977), Loc Hung commune, Trang Bang town is one of the examples in studying and following Uncle Ho. In September 2019, on her way to work, she picked up a handbag containing 60 million VND.

Immediately after that, she brought the money to the commune police station to report and ask for help in finding the person who lost it. Nearly a month later, the commune police announced that they had identified the owner and returned it to the person who lost it.

“I think simply, money that is not mine cannot be used. Although my family’s circumstances are still difficult, I believe that living honestly and uprightly is the best way to follow Uncle Ho’s example,” Ms. Lanh shared.

Or like Ms. Nguyen Thi Bich Hoa, a member of the Women's Union of Long Hoa ward, Hoa Thanh town, for many years has quietly participated in charity work with all her heart.

With the thought that "helping someone reduce difficulties and have more motivation to rise up in life is also a way to learn from Uncle Ho", from 2020 to now, she has supported more than 500 million VND in interest-free capital for women in difficult circumstances, cooked thousands of vegetarian meals at shelters, and awarded scholarships and savings books to orphans.

These simple but meaningful actions contribute to spreading the spirit of mutual love and the image of women living beautifully and usefully in the community.

In addition, models such as "My family learns and follows Uncle Ho", "Hanging Uncle Ho's picture", "Doing a useful thing every day", "Green savings", "Women help each other buy health insurance cards", "Charity rice jar", "Zero-dong stall" ... have been widely deployed throughout the province. The movements "Tet tree planting", "Anti-plastic waste" have attracted nearly 46,000 members to participate, planting more than 11,000 trees, mobilizing thousands of environmentally friendly cloth bags and glass bottles. The whole province saved more than 2 billion VND from scrap collection activities, saving electricity, supporting nearly 3,800 disadvantaged women.

Spread the spirit of responsibility, love and sharing

Not only members, the Association's cadres from the province to the grassroots level always uphold the exemplary role, imbued with Uncle Ho's ideology, considering studying and following Uncle Ho as a daily task. Party cells and Association agencies all have books recording stories about Uncle Ho, drawing lessons and relating them to practical work. From 2017 to now, the provincial Association's Party cell has no cadres, party members, or association members violating 27 signs of ideological and moral degradation, "self-evolution", "self-transformation". 100% of party members have completed their tasks well or better.

Sharing about the outstanding results after 10 years of implementation, Ms. Phan Thi Thuy Van - President of the Provincial Women's Union emphasized: "We identify learning and following Uncle Ho as a regular, long-term task that needs to be concretized by action. Not just empty propaganda, the Union always takes practical effectiveness, changes in awareness, ethics, and lifestyle of members and women as a measure. Each cadre and member is an active nucleus contributing to building the Union organization to be stronger and closer to the people."

The Provincial Women's Union commended and rewarded outstanding individuals in the emulation movement, studying and following Uncle Ho in the period 2020-2025.

According to statistics, after 10 years of implementing Directive 05-CT/TW, the whole province has recognized more than 7,000 typical women, more than 100 groups and dozens of typical models. Nearly 18,000 women have achieved the title of "Outstanding Women"; more than 6,000 shining examples have been recognized in various fields. The programs "Accompanying women in border areas", "Raising piggy banks for poor students", "Women's groups supporting each other to develop the economy" continue to be maintained effectively, strongly spreading the spirit of responsibility, love and sharing - in accordance with the morality and style of Uncle Ho.

Learning and following Uncle Ho's example among Tay Ninh women is not just a slogan, but a concrete, practical action, from the agency to each household. With deep faith in his ideology, through small but meaningful actions, Tay Ninh women have been contributing to the cause of building a more civilized and affectionate homeland, worthy of the heroic, indomitable, loyal and responsible tradition of Vietnamese women.
