Women of Phung Hiep commune carry out many meaningful activities

(CT) - From the beginning of July until now, the Women's Union of Phung Hiep commune, Can Tho city has carried out many meaningful activities in social security work, improving the lives of members and women.

Provide livelihood capital to support members and women in difficult circumstances.

Specifically, the Commune Women's Union has just coordinated with the Anh Duong Community Support and Development Center to provide 123 million VND in livelihood capital to support 33 members and women in difficult circumstances. Each woman is supported from 3-5 million VND to invest in plants and seeds, develop the economy , and stabilize their lives.

Previously, the Women's Union of Phung Hiep commune coordinated with departments, branches and organizations to hand over 2 Great Solidarity houses, worth 200 million VND; mobilized benefactors to give 40 gifts to union members, poor women and people in especially difficult circumstances in the area, each worth 250,000 VND.

The Association also coordinated to clean up the environment, plant ornamental flowers along rural roads; support people and businesses to register accounts to submit documents online on the Public Service Portal; guide members and women to install and use software and digital applications on mobile phones such as: Can Tho Smart, VssID, VNeID...
