Ms. Ha Thi Sang, President of the Women's Union of Xuan Nha Commune, said: Currently, the Union is entrusted with the Van Ho Social Policy Bank, with a total outstanding loan of nearly 97 billion VND for members to borrow to develop production and business. Every year, the Union also organizes a review and classification of poor and near-poor households headed by women and member families with especially difficult circumstances to develop appropriate support plans. From 2021 to present, the Union has supported 171 women from poor households to access preferential loans, participate in livelihood models such as raising goats, raising cows for breeding..., 31 women's households have escaped poverty and near-poverty.

In particular, the model of growing eight-degree bamboo of the project "Economic empowerment of ethnic minority women through the development of clean bamboo shoot chains" under the GREAT Program funded by the Australian Government has been highly effective and has been well received by many members. Ms. Dinh Thi Ngan, a member of Tu village, Xuan Nha commune, shared: With the support of the project, my family planted 3 hectares of eight-degree bamboo. After about a year of planting, the trees began to yield harvests. In addition to fresh bamboo shoots, bamboo leaves are also purchased by traders. After the bamboo shoot season, we graft branches to sell seedlings. In addition, my family also grows more than 2 hectares of corn. Each year, we earn over 150 million VND.

Continuing to support women in economic development and income increase, the Women's Union of Xuan Nha commune promotes propaganda and mobilizes members to develop the economy in a sustainable direction; diversifying forms of capacity building, such as: Direct and online training, organizing forums, and studying effective models.
