Inauguration of Mong Village Water Plant – Son La Phase 1

On November 5, at Kham village, Chieng Coi ward, VBIC Son La Joint Stock Company held the inauguration ceremony of Mong village water plant - Son La phase 1.

Mong village water plant and raw water pipeline phase 1, part of the project to invest in the construction of Mong village water plant and raw water pipeline, Son La city (old) invested by VBIC Son La Joint Stock Company. The scale of the project to produce clean water from Mong village irrigation reservoir water meets standards, with a capacity of 27,500 m ³ /day and night. The project is divided into 3 phases, of which phase 1 is 10,000 m ³ /day and night; phase 2 is 20,000 m ³ /day and night; phase 3 is 27,500 m ³ /day and night.

Phase 1 of the project will be implemented from July 2023 and put into operation from November 5, 2025 with a total investment of 102 billion VND. The project includes many items, such as: Lake surface water collection equipment, 3.2km long water pipeline, 10,000 m3/day and night water treatment system, 2,000 m3 clean water tank, sludge treatment system, power supply system, transmission system, engineering and many other auxiliary items.

The factory is operated by automatic system.

The water treatment process of the Factory is operated automatically with advanced technology, using green technology, closed-loop treatment, and does not emit pollutants into the environment. Water quality parameters and indicators are continuously monitored online. The clean water of the factory is connected to the water supply system of Son La Water Supply Joint Stock Company, serving the needs of the people.
