Chieng Sinh's appearance is brighter and more beautiful

Mr. Lo Phong Nam, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Committee of Chieng Sinh Ward, said: Implementing the Resolution of the first Party Congress of the Ward, term 2025-2030, we issued 9 key projects, focusing on building economic development models, building civilized urban areas and deploying solar energy lamp models to light up alleys, hamlets and sub-areas. To quickly put the Resolution into practice, the Ward Party Committee directed each Party cell and residential group to organize meetings, collect people's opinions, and agree on appropriate methods to suit actual conditions; launch the emulation movement "State and people work together", mobilize exemplary cadres and Party members to take the lead, promote the spirit of solidarity, and mobilize people's strength in the movement to socialize the construction of people's infrastructure.

The socialization movement to build infrastructure has been unanimously approved and strongly responded by the people. The model of "Lighting up the countryside roads" has become a bright spot in the emulation movement of the ward. Up to now, the whole ward has 27/33 groups and villages that have completed the installation of lighting systems for alleys and hamlets, contributing to clearly changing the appearance of residential areas.

From July 1st to now, the whole ward has 7 villages installed 290 solar-powered LED lights to light up the streets and alleys. The total cost of the project is more than 330 million VND from the people's contributions. The projects provide clean, economical and environmentally friendly light sources. People are excited because traveling and living are convenient, security and order are guaranteed.

Along with the installation of lighting systems, the movement to build rural roads and urban beautification was also strongly implemented. Many roads were widened from 3.5m to 6m, concreted solidly, and drainage ditches were built synchronously. Hundreds of households voluntarily donated land, moved fences, contributed labor and money to build roads. Many streets and inner-village roads were decorated with trees, fences, and gates, creating a green, clean, and beautiful landscape. Along with that, village cultural houses and residential groups were repaired and upgraded, becoming spacious and orderly community activities places.

In addition to mobilizing the people, the ward also called on businesses and philanthropists to join hands to support 2 million VND/group, hamlet, to buy laptops for administrative work and information reporting. Mobilize businesses to support cash and construction materials to build pits to bury lampposts and level the roadbed. Every project, big or small, bears the mark of "people's hearts - people's strength".

Visiting Na Lo village these days, it is not difficult to feel the bustling atmosphere of work and competition of the people. Although it is the coffee harvest season, the busiest time of the year, people still take advantage of every hour and every day to complete civil works, making achievements to celebrate the National Great Unity Day (November 18) to be held in the village on November 9, 2025.

The solar light project in Na Lo village, Chieng Sinh ward was completed and put into use.

Mr. Ca Van La, Party Cell Secretary, Head of Na Lo Village, shared: The village has 97 households with 488 people. The village has mobilized people to contribute 60 million VND to install 50 solar lights to light up 2,000 m of village roads and alleys. In addition, the people have been mobilized to comply with not encroaching on traffic corridors, proactively return the area of inter-village roads, and donate land to widen the inner-village road from 3.5m to 6m.

Not only Na Lo village, but also the groups and villages in the ward actively mobilized people to contribute, determined to complete and inaugurate the lighting system for alleys and hamlets using solar energy before the National Great Unity Day (November 18). Mr. Quang Van Trong, Party Cell Secretary, Head of Nong La village, said: In March 2025, the village coordinated with the Youth Union of Son La Electricity Company and construction units to light up the village with 30 solar energy bulbs. Currently, the village is mobilizing people to contribute to buy more materials to install 40 more LED bulbs to light up the village's main roads. We strive to complete the project and inaugurate it before November 17.

From specific and practical actions, helping the roads to be lit at night, the alleys to be widened, the cultural houses to be spacious... Promoting the achieved results, the Party Committee and the government of Chieng Sinh ward continue to encourage and replicate the models of "people know, people discuss, people do, people enjoy", mobilizing social resources to invest in infrastructure, urban embellishment, building Chieng Sinh into a green urban area, modern and civilized countryside.
