On October 17, according to information from the Office of the People's Committee of Phu Tho province, the Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Phu Tho province had a working session with Hoa Binh College of Economics and Technology, Hoa Binh College of Engineering and Technology, and Hoa Binh College of Education.

At the meeting, school leaders reported on the organization and performance.

Accordingly, Hoa Binh College of Technology and Engineering currently has 35 classes, including 5 college classes and 30 intermediate classes; training 765 students.

Continue to maintain training for 21 Laotian students studying at the College level, Automotive Technology and Computer Network Administration at the school. The total number of staff and teachers of the school is 49 people.

Hoa Binh Pedagogical College has a total of 74 employees receiving salaries from the State budget allocated by the Department of Education and Training. The total number of employees is currently 73. In the past 3 years, the school has enrolled nearly 1,050 students, of which over 950 are college students and nearly 10 are intermediate level students.

Hoa Binh College of Economics and Technology currently has 67 people. In the period 2021 - 2025, the school enrolled over 3,000 students. In 2025 alone, as of October, the school enrolled nearly 450 students.

At the meeting, school leaders proposed and recommended to the province a number of issues such as: Continuing to pay attention to, increasing investment, renovating facilities and equipment associated with job creation for students after graduation. Reviewing, adjusting and supplementing a number of contents of the Project on teaching and learning Muong ethnic language for the period 2018 - 2030, with a vision to 2035 in the province to meet current regulations, in line with practical conditions, ensuring feasibility.

In addition, schools also want to have a mechanism to encourage businesses to use trained workers; a coordination mechanism between businesses and vocational training institutions in training. Strengthen training and improve qualifications, ensure that teachers and civil servants are committed to their profession. Thoroughly implement the classification of students after graduating from junior high school, high school, etc.

The Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Phu Tho province affirmed that the province will create the most favorable conditions to carry out the arrangement and merger of vocational education institutions, ensuring the effective promotion of invested infrastructure resources and qualified lecturers of the schools. After the merger decision is made, based on the functions and tasks, the schools need to have a specific assessment, focusing on the development orientation, suitable to the school's functions.

Regarding the proposals and recommendations of the schools, Mr. Nguyen Khac Hieu assigned specific tasks to relevant departments and branches to synthesize and report to competent authorities for consideration and resolution as soon as possible.
