On the afternoon of November 24, responding to the call of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hai Phong city, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Gia Vien ward launched and received funds to support the Central Highlands provinces affected by rain and floods.
At the launching ceremony, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Gia Vien Ward called on agencies, units, businesses; socio- political organizations; philanthropists; cadres, party members, civil servants, public employees, armed forces and all people in the ward to join hands to support people in the Central Highlands provinces with money, necessities, clean water, medicine, food, etc.
At the launching ceremony, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Gia Vien Ward received 5,100 Canadian dollars donated by Ms. Hoang Thi Mo at 8/56 Le Loi Street, Gia Vien Ward and a number of overseas Vietnamese in Canada, and 50 boxes of instant noodles.
All funds, necessities, materials, medicines... were transferred by the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Gia Vien ward to the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hai Phong city to send to Dak Lak province to help people quickly overcome the consequences of floods and quickly stabilize their lives.
