Avoid leaving gaps in management.
After being established by merging four central wards of the former Que Vo town, namely Pho Moi, Viet Hung, Bang An, and Que Tan, Que Vo ward quickly adapted and operated stably under a two-tiered local government model, creating favorable conditions for people and businesses to develop the economy and attract investment. In particular, the locality prioritizes maintaining achievements and further strengthening urban order management and building a civilized lifestyle.

According to Nguyen Ngoc Anh, Chairman of the People's Committee of the ward, along with ensuring the operation of the government system according to the new model, the ward is also actively implementing urban order management. This includes focusing on maintaining the achievements of previous localities and gradually establishing a new, efficient, and effective urban management apparatus. “In early July, the ward leaders and functional departments conducted on-site inspections of dike management, disaster prevention and control, land management, and construction order. Following this, the Party Committee and People's Committee of the ward directed functional departments to immediately begin work, ensuring no laxity or gaps in their areas of management,” Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Anh added. In particular, the locality is stepping up urban order management and beautification efforts to serve the Ward Party Congress. Each individual is required to uphold a high sense of responsibility and enthusiasm to build and beautify the city, making it clean, tidy, and civilized during the Ward Party Congress.
In the first six months of the year, in various neighborhoods, local security and order forces organized campaigns to clear traffic safety corridors; notifying households to voluntarily remove awnings, canopies, and advertising signs that detract from urban aesthetics. To date, households in Nghiem Thon, Dinh neighborhoods, and along Quang Trung and Tran Hung Dao streets have voluntarily dismantled items and advertising signs that violate urban order, creating a more open and unobstructed street and sidewalk environment.
Strengthening urban management and beautification.
In preparation for the Party Congress of Que Vo Ward, scheduled for mid-August 2025, the Ward People's Committee has developed a comprehensive urban beautification plan with specific tasks assigned to each unit. The plan focuses on three key areas: ensuring urban order; environmental sanitation; and organizing visual propaganda to create a vibrant atmosphere among officials, Party members, and the people.

With a core role, the Economic and Infrastructure Department and the Culture and Social Affairs Department were assigned by the Ward People's Committee to lead the inspection of the transportation system, review traffic signs, and identify passenger pick-up and drop-off points. A construction order inspection team was established, requiring construction projects to comply with permits and ensuring clean road surfaces. They proactively developed a plan for public awareness campaigns using billboards and banners at important intersections; and changed the system of agency and neighborhood name signs to reflect the new administrative designations, ensuring standardization and uniformity. The Ward Fatherland Front Committee launched a campaign to build "Safe, Green, Clean, and Beautiful Residential Areas," monitoring compliance with urban order, traffic regulations, and environmental standards in residential areas.
Mr. Lai Huu Nhan, Head of the Urban Economy and Infrastructure Department, said that the department has assigned all 10 members to coordinate with relevant departments and neighborhood leaders to carry out the assigned tasks and is determined to complete them in the first days of August. Currently, the specialized teams are focusing on organizing meetings and disseminating information to the people to strictly comply with regulations on construction, environmental sanitation, and traffic safety.
