Military Region 9 celebrates Chol Chnam Thmay traditional new year in Kien Giang province

Colonel Nguyen Truong Giang - Head of the Mass Mobilization Department, Political Department of Military Region 9, congratulated and presented gifts to Ca Nhung Pagoda, Dinh Hoa Commune, Go Quao District (Kien Giang).

At Nha Si Cu Pagoda (Giong Rieng), Ca Nhung Pagoda (Go Quao) and Lang Cat Pagoda (Rach Gia City), on behalf of the Military Region 9 Command, Colonel Nguyen Truong Giang visited and sent wishes to monks, families of beneficiaries and Khmer people to celebrate the traditional Chol Chnam Thmay New Year 2025 happily, warmly, unitedly and happily.

Colonel Nguyen Truong Giang reported some information on the socio-economic development situation, the outstanding results that the armed forces of Military Region 9 and the armed forces of Kien Giang province have achieved in carrying out military and defense tasks in the first months of 2025, notably the implementation of the model of the military-civilian Tet celebration of Chol Chnam Thmay, thereby contributing to building new rural areas, improving the lives of Khmer people and strengthening the solidarity and close relationship between the military and the people.
