(Haiphong.gov.vn) - On the morning of March 6, the Vietnam Fatherland Front of Lam Son Ward, Le Chan District held the 13th Congress of Delegates for the 2024-2029 term. Attending the Congress were leaders of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the district; leaders of the Party Committee, People's Council, and People's Committee of the ward; Heads of departments, unions, Principals of schools, Party cell secretaries, and heads of residential groups in the ward.

The Congress listened to reports on the situation of official delegates attending the 13th Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front of Lam Son Ward, term 2024 - 2029; reports on the results and work of the Front for the term 2019 - 2024 and the goals and action program for the term 2024 - 2029; reports on reviewing the activities of the Committee and the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the Ward for the term 2019 - 2024; reports on synthesizing and contributing opinions to the draft documents of the 13th Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front of the Ward, reports on synthesizing opinions and contributing opinions to the draft Political Report submitted to the 13th Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front of Le Chan District, term 2024 - 2029.

In the 2019 - 2024 term, the Vietnam Fatherland Front of Lam Son ward proactively innovated the content and methods of operation, diversified the forms of gathering and uniting people of all walks of life, actively participated in Party building, government building, strengthened supervision and social criticism. At the same time, improved the quality of campaigns and patriotic emulation movements, focusing on the grassroots. Notably, the movement "All people unite to build a cultural life in residential groups" is now "All people unite to build new rural areas and civilized urban areas"; regularly implemented the movement "Saturday with the people"; Build 7 self-management models in the fields of economy, culture, society, security and order such as the model "No-garbage residential group", "Night patrol to prevent crime", "Propaganda group for gender imbalance at birth", "Self-management route", model "Inter-family fire prevention group", model "Public fire fighting point".

Along with that, the loan capital of the Policy Bank is well managed with a total outstanding debt of over 9.5 billion VND for 251 households with 7 savings and loan groups. In 5 years, the Fatherland Front of Lam Son Ward mobilized sponsors, using the Fund for the Poor to build and repair 12 houses with an amount of 850 million VND for near-poor households and households in especially difficult circumstances; taking care of policy families and children in difficult circumstances with an amount of over 150 million VND/year...

Promoting the achieved results, in the 2024 - 2029 term, the Vietnam Fatherland Front of Lam Son ward determines the goal of continuing to innovate the content and methods, improving the effectiveness of the Fatherland Front's activities; promoting the tradition and strength of great national unity; effectively implementing the goals and action programs of the Fatherland Front of the ward, term XIII, term 2024 - 2029, determined to complete the socio -economic, security - defense tasks, contributing to the development of the ward.
