(Dan Tri) - Huynh Tu Anh revealed that she is boarding a plane to Singapore to prepare for the Chanel Cruise 2026 collection show taking place on November 4.

This information was revealed by The Face Vietnam (Brand Face) 2023 Champion Huynh Tu Anh to Dan Tri reporter on the sidelines of the Vietnam International Fashion Week (VIFW) Fall - Winter 2025 event, where she is one of the model selection judges.

Tu Anh confirmed that she was selected to be a model at the Chanel fashion show, taking place in Singapore on November 4.

She is on her way to Singapore today (November 2) to prepare with the crew.

Before Tu Anh, the Vietnamese fashion world had model Thuy Trang who walked in a private show for VIP guests of Chanel at the end of 2017. But because this was a private show, her performance images were not widely shared for the public to know.

In addition, Vietnamese model Jade Nguyen also performed at Chanel's show, but she is a French citizen and lives and works in Paris.

Thus, with the new step forward of The Face Champion Huynh Tu Anh, she became the first Vietnamese model to be selected as a catwalk model in an international show of Chanel fashion house.

If all goes well, Tu Anh will walk with the world's top models at this show.

The fact that Tu Anh passed a rigorous selection process to participate in a public show of Chanel, a brand representing high-end fashion (haute couture), was quite a surprise to domestic fashion enthusiasts. The Face champion shared that she had participated in a live casting for Chanel once before but failed. This time, she succeeded after casting online.

Specifically, this time Tu Anh sent her profile and performance video to Chanel's representative and received a confirmation email from the company shortly after, along with a plane ticket to Singapore on November 2.

"When I received the news that I had been selected for the Chanel show, it was around midnight in Vietnam, but I was so happy that I couldn't control myself, so I immediately called Ms. Anh Thu - the coach who led Tu Anh in the 2023 The Face contest - to share. Ms. Anh Thu was having a night shoot at that time, she had to film a crying scene, but because she was happy for me, both teacher and student laughed like a festival," Tu Anh said.

To prepare for the Chanel show in Singapore, Tu Anh applied a strict training and diet regimen.

She revealed: "For about 7 days before the show, I only eat eggs, vegetables and chicken breast, or maybe some oatmeal, but exclude other starches. I also don't eat sugar, don't drink milk and of course say no to greasy foods.

Usually, about 2 days before a performance or photo shoot, I will reduce the amount of water I take in. Before, I drank 2 liters of water every day, but now I will reduce it to 1 liter. On the official day of the performance or photo shoot, I will not drink water."

Her training regimen is no less stressful. Tu Anh works out regularly 3-4 times a week and increases the intensity to working out all week when the show is near, to keep her body toned and build abs and arms.

The Face 2023 champion admitted that she and her personal trainer were both under a lot of pressure during this period, and she was also very excited about the important event in her career.

After becoming the champion of The Face 2023, Tu Anh has been very active in the modeling field. She clearly expressed her ambition to enter the international market.
